(OOC: Sure thing.)

I awoke the following day, and wriggled my way out of the sleeping bag. I crawled over beside Rachel, and sat myself down. I hoped that she was alright. I put my hand on her forehead. She was still slightly cold, but seemed to be improving. I took a sigh of relief, and stared out the window. "Heh, looks like I got up a bit too early," I said, noticing that it was still fairly dark outside. I moved myself back into the sleeping bag, and drifted off.

Overnight, I had assumed the same curled up sleeping position as before, and was yelled at times-a-plenty to cut out the purring sound. It wasn't like I could help it! I again, was sleeping, while everyone was getting up. An elephant running past me wouldn't have even woken me up.

I felt myself slowly come around, feeling better then I had yesterday. I blinked twice, then worked my way out of the sleeping bag. I realised how close to death i had come, and shivered. I looked outside then, and saw with releif that it had warmed up again. I let my mind reflect back to the feeling of power that came with being the komodo dragon, and I sighed, wishing I could change back.

As rachel moved, I woke up as well. "Rachel, are you all right?" I asked, instantly slipping out of the sleeping bag and moving net to her. I almost fell when I noticed what I was wearing, but then the memories came flooding back with a shock... I just hoped that she wouldn't notice...

OOC: Now that's the perfect cue to notice, isn't it? XD

(OOC: *laughs* Can't wait to see this. XD)

I awoke again later, and undid the sleeping bag. "G'morning Robert," I said, "Did you just wake up?" I noticed that she was still wearing that outfit. I didn't find it all that funny any more, but I wanted to see Rachel's reaction. "This is gonna be good," I thought to myself.

"If you stay any longer while looking like an oversized Barbie doll, I'm going to be falling back into the old ways of shredding." I said calmly. I was still in a bad mood, and I owed him my life, but I'd be doing that later. besides that, I was starving, I hadn't eaten since 2 days ago..

"Oh yeah," I began, poking Robert as my stomach growled, "I didn't get to eat anything last night. What's for breakfast?" I poked her again. She and I both know how much of a disaster master I am when it comes to food. My stomach continued growling as if to say that it agrees with me.

"Err, right." I said, moving off to collect the outfit I had worn yesterday, and walkinbg into a different, abandoned room to change. It was dry now, and after I had changed, I ran some hot water on my hand to turn back, and went to the room where I left rachel. "Sorry about that, but I didn't want to catch hypothermia either." I said dryly, but I had brought several granola bars in with me from my backpack. They were wrapped, and came in several different flavors, and excellent travelling breakfast.

<OOC>Update-ness, if you don't mind.<OOC>

(OOC: Rachel, Shiney, and I are in our normal forms, while David's in his cursed form. We're inside the inn on the next day. That's all, I think. o.o;)

"Aww, you made such a cute girl," I complained, taking my clothes back. "So, what are we eatin'?" I asked, poking him again. I could hear my stomach rebelling in an attempt to escape my starved body. "Oops, almost forgot," I said, walking off to the bathroom with a change of clothes.

I groaned as I pulled a pair of trousers on. They were a bit... tight. I looked in the mirror and smiled. Then, forgetting about the curse, I turned the cold tap on, and ran my hand under it. Poof. The clothes dropped to the ground, and shortly after, I managed to pull myself out from underneath. I felt like such an idiot. I knew that they couldn't understand me, and the bathroom door was closed, so I headbutted it as hard as I could, in an attempt to get their attention.

I moved to the door, hearing the banging sound. "Probably tried to take a cold shower." I remaked, and entered. I looked down at her, and shook my head, not saying anything. I ran a glass of warm water, and poured it onto her, and immidiately turned away, being very careful not to look. "Granola bars for breakfast, there are a lot more in the kitchen, on the table." I said, walking out and closing the door firmly behind me.

"Ehe, thanks," I said with an embarassed look on my face. Quickly, I pulled the trousers and shirt back on, and walked out into the kitchen. "Granola bars?!" I said, as I picked one up. "Eh, can't complain," I continued, taking a bite, "I haven't eaten for ages, so this'll have to suffice." I sat down on top of my sleeping bag, eating. "So... any plans to... get out of here...?" I asked, my voice slightly muffled by the chewing. "Chew with your mouth closed," I thought to myself, before closing my mouth firmly and staring at Robert.

"Yes, actually." I said, moving over to a closet. "I found this when we first got here, but everyone was too tired to think about it, and I thought we could use a day of rest." I said, pulling out a large gas can. "This should be enough to get us to a gas station, and then back to the airport in more than enough time for our flight." I said, putting it back down. "But the question is, do we even want to go back? Any chance of a normal life is pretty much gone now."

My wings were dry by now, although I was still wondering what had happened. No legend I'd ever heard of mentioned it and indeed, I had studied every legend I could find. I noticed some activity as I circled over the lodge. Odd. Might as well...I landed, perching on a windowsill and rapped quickly on the glass.

"We can't live here forever," I said, shaking my head. I had a good life, and I wasn't about to give it up. That's something everybody knew. "There has to be SOME way to break the curse..." I continued.

I moved to the windw, hearing someone tapping at it. I opened it without thinking, and suddenly realised that I was staring at a large bird. "Wha?" I asked, confused. Birds weren't trained to knock on windo- Then it hit me. "Let me guess, you're another unfortunate soul who thought it would be a good idea to take a dip in the springs?" I asked, standing aside so that it could get inside.

"A bird?" I exclaimed as I stared at the large falcon. "So... you too, huh?" I continued, wondering curiously. I thought I'd give the bird a demonstration. I went over to the sink, and filled a cup with cold water, before sneaking up behind Robert. "Splash!" I shouted, before throwing the water over him, and laughing. "See? That's how it works," I said, walking to my bag and pulling out a camera, which I immediately hid behind my back.

I turned around to glower at Aura, my dark hair now plastered to my face, soaked. "That wasn't necisary." I said, grinding my teeth. Even though I had an anti-sexist attitude, I still found it difficult to be agressive towards girls. I had a feeling that if anyone could change that though, Aura could...

I was still laughing loudly. "Aww, why not? You look cute as a girl," I said, as the laughter lowered. I held up the camera and put it to my eye, grinning. "Smile, pretty Robert!" I shouted, grinning as I pressed the button. I knew it annoyed him. That was the point.

I was completely suprised by her actions, not expecting her to go as far as to take a picture of me. "Ack!" I said, rubbing my eyes, both from the sudden blindness caused by the flash, and by the idea that she might try spreading the picture around. Oh well, I'd just have to destroy the film later, I supposed...
