4th Gen Karate King's Gift

If you've done so already and have obtained your LV. 10 Tyrogue from the Karate King, the former leader of the Fighting Dojo in Saffron City, then what did you decide on evolving it into [Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, or Hitmontop]? Or did you forget/ not care about the dependency on Tyrogue's stats in which determined what it evolved into?

I just got it, and I probably won't care what I do with it. Seeing as how it has a Timid nature, I probably won't even touch it.

I am going with Hitmonchan so I can easily breed various punch/Vacuum wave moves onto my other fighting types

I got a Hitmontop in SS, since I don't have the dex informations yet.
I haven't got around to finding him in HG though.

Hitmontop just because it can sometimes be a hassle to evolve. But it doesn't matter to me really because I just plan on breeding it.

I evolved it into Hitmonlee. :>
It reminds me of a Kung Fu fighter.

I evolved it into Hitmontop as I've never really liked it and I thought that if maybe I used one for a while then it might start growing on me. So far so good, I like it more already! :D

I haven't gotten mine yet, but Hitmonlee is my favorite of the trio, so I'll probably go with him.

Although I already have a Heracross so I don't really need a fighting type...

Actually, Lee was for Bruce Lee. I read it in my original Pokemon Handbook.

Depends on their Japanese names, though. That could be a possibility.

I'll probably just breed my Tyrogue to get all four end evolve according to nature/ability. :3

I generally don't use special Pokemon obtained in game. I have a box in my PC especially for them. I broke the trend with Red Gyarados for some reason though.

I released it as soon as I got it, I already had a better Tyrouge and evolved that into a Hitmonlee :)

I breed mine with Ditto and get more to make all 3.

I WANTED hitmontop, but after infinite protein/irons, it became hitmonchan.

Well.....last time I got it, It turned into Hitmonlee. Not that I didn't like it...(most Gen I designs just,well...I love them all, and I don't know why. Particularly as I'm a Gen III person xD).

This time, I'm hoping for a Hitmontop. If only because it can effectively use Rock Smash. Power 40 becomes Power 80, and possible defense drop? People underestimate that move, seriously...cut too...hence why I often use Scizor running Bullet Punch | Cut | Rock Smash | Bug Bite

HAHA Hitmonchan =/= Jackie chan
just because they have the same last name (chan is not a "rare" chinese name) does not mean one is based of the other

here i'll list some differences
-Hitmonchan wears a tutu
-jackie chan does not
-hitmonchan is quite obviously based off of boxing or kickboxing
-Jackie chan is not quite obviously based off of boxing or kickboxing

^It's a known fact that's who they're named after yo.

Hitmonchan may not equal Jackie Chan, but he certainly is based on him.

Anyways I haven't obtained mine yet since I haven't gotten around to it..
