Kecleon is unfair!

I once tried stealing from a Kecleon in the original PMD. My plan was to steal the stuff and quickly use an Escape orb to escape completely. I failed: the Kecleons used their superpowers to prevent the usage of that orb (or something like that :P)! Well, needless to say I was wiped out.

Recently, in PMD2, I had just been in a Kecleon shop but hadn't bought anything when I stepped in an explosion trap. Well, what a pain, but at least it didn't kill me, I thought. Then suddenly, one of my teammembers fainted! I was all "what just happened?" I realized too late: the Kecleon was attacking my Pokemon! The trap must had hurt it as well and it went on rampage. It wiped my whole team out with just couple of regular attacks. That taught me to never mess with Kecleons, even by accident.

I guess rather then because of being hurt he went on rampage because of his items which were destroyed by that Explosion Trap. :)

By the way since we have thread for it here, had anyone actually recruited Kecleon?

LOL - my partner stole from Kecleon. Got my team 9other than partner) KOd.

I did in Red Resue Team after about 1 million tries. His recruitment percentage is low so after struggling to beat him you are unlikely to get him.
 
I don't remember his level. I do know I used him alot. I used Graveller rocks to beat him and alot of reviver seeds. I had to restart for inspiration for my game.

I wasn't even trying to steal his stuffers. ;;

Now every time I go in a dungeon and see a Kecleon I purposely get in a fight with it.. and decimate it. 8D

dude, that's stupid, I stole an Revive Seed from its store(on purpose), then I use warp seed, warp that stupid Kecleon away, but, WTH? the 2nd Kecleon appear and beat my team out cold -_-
 
Uggh, I concur with the thread title.
Once, I picked up an item, thinking I could afford it. Turned out I couldn't, so as soon as Kecleon started raving about me being a thief I immediately placed it back down on the mat.
"That'll work," I said to myself. "I'm leaving the item because I can't afford it."

But... No. He utterly destroyed me and my partner, even though I immediately returned the item in question. And he calls me a criminal? THE NERVE! D8<

I'm pretty sure that it's not that big.
He'd do bigger damage then 10-15 with his Slash to my 100lv Lucario.
Even if Luc has resistance, Kecleon has STAB on it :)
So I guess somewhere between 70-80
 
In PMD1, I picked up an orb or something and I couldn't pay for it. Kecleon instantly killed me. I'm like, I WAS ON THE 38TH FLOOR, YOU IDIOT! I had to start all over again.
 
Yeah, steal something from the green skinned ogre, and he goes UBER PWNAGGEEE BESTAGEE on you.

I was going to buy a reviver seed from him for 800..then, when I bought it, I guess I walked out and somehow either my partner picked up an item and didn't put it back, or I didn't pay.

I threw a sleep seed at him and ran. Ran straight into a Monster House, killed them, and I got to the stairs...YOOMTAH~About five of them were standing there, and super pwned me ultimately.
 
Keclean is a demon spawn. They totally need to make him a mall cop. I actually once took all his items then used one of those orbs that teleported me directly to the stairs. It would have been epic if he hadn't killed my partner in a single hit and made me repeat the dungeon. -_- I hate him so!
 
i tried it once, only because i was flying through the dungeon and smashing every enemy in my way, i saw kecleon and i thought

" aww, what a wussy pokemon, ill destroy him!"

i stole his heal seed and he came after me.

being the PMD noob that i was i walked up to him!

kecleon attacked me and did about 250 damage to my level 30 Riolu.

No revive seeds :(

I now have the up most respect and fear for kecleon and i always pay for my items
 
I don't bother attacking them.
Knowing that I would faint and I am rich, I wouldn't want to risk my life for stealing 1 item.
 
The first time I stole from them was like running into a battlefield naked. It was suicide! I didn't really think that they would be so strong..

That's why I use the Trawl Orb whenever I'm next to a staircase. XD
