    Have anyone watched Kill la Kill? I was recommended by my friend watching this about three months ago. I have watched it anyway and done with the episodes (except the ova... I haven't). It is a lot comedic more than killing action, and with less, less hentai. XD Epic ending: everyone is naked. XD

    I have seen some elements resembling to the story of Pokemon core games. Mostly it resembles Generation V games (Black and White, and Black 2 and White 2). Satsuki is kinda bit a N-ish role in game while her mom is kinda bit Ghetsis-ish role. Satsuki's team are called Elite Four. Challenge with leaders of different clubs might be resembling Gym Leaders. I have seen a Professor Sycamore in Mikisugi Aikuro pose:

    It really was actually good, thank you very much.

    In my anime club, we were watching both this and Bodacious Space Pirates and I'll take this anime over BSP.

    Literally nothing happens in Bodacious Space Pirates, nothing matters, and it hard to even care about anyone.
     
    I think I dropped BSP with intent on finishing it when it was complete, never got around to it.

    Neither were very good.
     
    Please understand that laptrap has a very distinct taste compared to the rest of us.

    Anyway, it is really enjoyable. I have yet to rewatch it to see if there were any flaws in it, but it was good during the airing.
     
    i thought it was enjoyable given by the usage of ragyo in my avatar, and the characters were/are entertaining and endearing, but a lot of the show is just plain gross
    the incestuous molestation bath house scene, the incestuous threeway fantasy, the pathetically weak attempt for the justification of fanservice (you have to be near naked to reach your full potential!), etc

    great characters with a relatively humorous/alright plot but with some ultimately revolting scenes that i can perfectly understand if they turn you off the show entirely
     
    Had a great time with Kill la Kill, but felt the ending was really rushed.
    I know the whole thing had a fast pace, but the ending could really use some work.
    The OST was good enough to satisfy the missing gaps, at least.

    laptrap just has the taste of daLEET. its okay, we can never reach dem heights.

    no though seriously, its just his taste. He didn't like the show much. That's alright. :p I personally think watching KlK weekly during its airing time is the way to go. Watching it as a whole may probably end up being not as much fun. Should try to see if that's really the case sometime, hmm...

    yeah they were there for the fanservice, alright. no two ways about it.

    I'm embarrassed to say but I was kinda...one of those people who initially bought the "female empowerment animu 2014" thing haha. Mostly due Satsuki's nods and some arguments that seemed true-ish initially. But as the show went on, one thing was made clear - the creators intended to create a fun ride. A decent story with plenty of action, PLOT TWISTS and a good amount of fanservice - they were going for the hit formula. And work it did - it garnered a good amount of attention, after all.

    Either way, at the end of the day, KlK is a good 7/10 in my books. It was really enjoyable. Due to those scenes being in it, though, I can't really watch it in public haha. XD;

    OST was boss, yes. That's one aspect of the show I think most will agree upon. Blumenkranz, Suck your blood, Nui's theme, Satsuki's theme and a good amount of other OST made its way into my playlist. I still listen to them from time to time. :D

    I don't see how a fanbase overhyping the show in question can "kill" it. A show's quality has nothing to do with the hype associated with it, after all. It is just you, the viewer, and the show. You watch it and judge it on its own merit. Letting hype dictate what you think about a series is...idk man..
