Kingdom Hearts Thread

Using Swap Magic is actually quite harmless. o.o Or at least, it is with the old fat PS2--it doesn't even void your warranty. I hear it's not that bad with the slim one either, but I don't know personally yet. (I'm waiting for the Canadian dollar to not suck anymore before I order the fliptop tool for the slim PS2 since I only got it in August.)

And yeah, I'm definitely up for some multiplayer action if it's wifi. That'd be awesome. :D

Sweet. I can't wait to get Re:Com now. Does the screen change like it did in CoM so it says R/R?

Can't w8 4 BBS and possibly Co-op on dat. It's all exciting!
 
Mmhmm. :D Go take a look at the US boxart--during Sora's side, the title screen shows Sora from that art and during Riku's side, it switches to his image.
 
Will it change back if i start Sora's agin?

I'm gonna start a thread like this but for 358/2 Days or shud we make this into a KH info center :P
 
Considering this thread was originally for BBS and 358/2 (I think XD), we should just leave it all in here. I'll change the title to reflect the main discussion topic, I guess. :O

And yeah, I think it changes back to Sora if you play his side. :D
 
Thnx. If there is a KH3 there better be a demo and online Co-op. It'd be well good.
 
So long as it's not for Wii, I'd be very surprised if there weren't some kind of demo. oo; But then, I'm not so sure on co-op. It would be really awesome though; one person controls Sora (or the main character, whatever) and the other gets to control a party member. It'd be great. @_@
 
Well, it is December 2nd right now, which of course means that the PS2 Game Kingdom Hearts: Re:Chain of Memories has been released in North America. IGN is said to have two gameplay videos as well as one of the first English scenes from the game on their website so feel free to check those out if you, like me, do not have a copy of the game yet.

In other news, in a press report released by Square-Enix announcing the arrival of Re:CoM today, they also made the official announcement that Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days will be releasing in North America. While this may not be much of a shock to a lot of you, it certainly is good to finally have an official confirmation. Read the excerpt of the press release below:

358/2 Days Confirmed For NA

About KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days
Uncover the events that took place during the year Sora was asleep regaining his lost memories. KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days revolves around Roxas, the "other" hero from KINGDOM HEARTS II, and his days as a member of Organization XIII. Follow Roxas and the rest of Organization XIII across the various Disney Worlds, and discover the connection between him, Sora, and the mysterious 14th member, and the reasons behind his eventual departure from the organization. KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days also features a multiplayer mode for the first time, allowing players to control their favorite Organization XIII members!
So there you have it. Not a bad day for Kingdom Hearts fans.

Yeah so Sora (U) Roxas(RKTD) Riku(me). I'm a total king at KH so we'd probably make a great team. But not so sure if that happened with the one player battles...

My friend already got himself a copy. He didn't even tell me he was getting the game. I'll get it shortly. I have Christmas items to buy for my family.

And I'll be sure to get 358/2 Days when it comes out also.

-Ok How to Obtain the Organiztion XIII card, and the Kingdom Hearts II Keyblade cards.
First off Beat Sora's Story, Beat the Last Marloosha Marluxia, after that Save, Make sure you have Kingdom Hearts II saved on your memory(I dont know if the save is true, but do it to be sure). If you have a Key to Reward card, open the door. If they are 2 Treasure Chests, you got 2 rewards =D Enjoy! If you want me to explain this more. Please do ask!

Here is the list.

  1. Traverse Town| Lion Heart, Saix| Key to Rewards
  2. Agrabah| Luxord, De-Zone| Key to Rewards
  3. Olympus Colisem| Metal Chocobo, Monochrome| Key to Rewards

half of the times when i find it im not looking for it =P

I check it out later I got Xigbar. Key to Rewards isnt hard to find. it REALLY easy to find.

So I guess we can't get Vexen Zexion Lexeus Larxene and Marluxia Axel so that's a let down. :(

Yes you can.

you can get Larxene if you beat her the Second time you face her. Same With Axel beat him the Second time you face him. Beat the First Marluxia, After you Beat Marluxia you get a in a Calm Bounty Card Diamond Dust, and One Winged Angel card, When you Beat Vexen in Twilight Town you get him. After Riku Mode, If you beat it, Go back to Sora's Story, and Open Calm Bounty you'll get a Ultima Weapon, Open another one Zexion, and another Clam Bounty you get a Lexeuas.

I bounce back and forth between wanting 358/2 Days and BBS everytime a new trailer or new info comes out about the game. I mean when a the latest BBS trailer (I think it was the latest) came out I was like "OMG BBS!" and then the info on Xion came out and I was like "OMG 358/2 Days!" and then I watched some event thing where it had a trailer for 358/2 Days and then right after it had one for BBS and I was back and forth and it was crazy.

I want both games. But I don't know what I want more. I mean 358/2 Days has Roxas' story and Org 13 and this whole 14th Org member. But on BBS it has what happened before KH1. What is up with this Ven dude who looks like Roxas. And so on... it's just crazy for me.

Oh lovely... so this means I have to go out and buy one of them memory card transfer things. Oh well, I guess I needed one anyways.

I'll probably be stupid and get one while I'm in the middle of the other one, and confuse the story lines D;

I'm most def. going to be getting them both at some point though, I REALLY wanna know about Ven cause like... wtf >:|

I would love it if they put both games out at the same time. I'd more then likely die due to being so happy, but at least I die happy. XD

But chances are they aren't going to release both games all that close to each other. I mean in Japan 358/2 Days already has a release date, where no one knows the date for BBS. So I think you'll be ok to get 358/2 Days, beat it and still wait for BBS.

True, I'd be entertained for months on end. going by how freaking long it takes me to finish a game. Dying happy is always a plus, might as well enjoy it while you can :D

I'm just happy they're gonna be on handhelds. I hate playing on my PS2, I have to roll around my room on my computer chair, going back and forth between the game systems and my computer. Even if they did come out around the same time, I would ignore one for the other after a while, like I did with Persona 3: FES and when I got FFT: WOTL. I suck.
 
Aughhh Andy I completely agree. 8( Everytime new information is released I switch which one I want. 358/2 comes first by default as it has Marluxia because I'm shallow like that, but plotwise? I flip-flop between the two waaay too much. I'm insanely curious about Ven and why he looks JUST LIKE ROXAS but then... Xion. D: She existed (well, didn't exist. Or whatever. Shut up.) but then why wasn't she ever mentioned in CoM or KH2? Especially as she seems close to Roxas and Axel; you'd think one of them would reminisce or something. But then... the Keyblade War! And what's up with those old (new? XD) enemies whose names I can't pronounce? And AAAAH WHY DOES XION SEEM LIKE KAIRI?

So many questions. XD; I'm so glad at least some of them will be cleared up in February. n_n;

I do this too! xD;; I'm SO glad there are TWO handheld Kingdom Hearts games coming out because if they were console, I'd have so many problems. T_T; I just can't sit down and play something on a TV system anymore; I get too distracted. (I think that's why I STILL haven't progressed in Re:COM, ahaha. Though in my defence I mostly just bought it to hear Marluxia's voice, to heard the pronunciation of his name, and then to say I have it. 8D;)
