Kingdom Hearts Thread

2013?! ...that's cruel, and wrong. ; ;

I'll be 26 by then, if it takes that long.. and I'll still be as much of a KH fan as I was when I was 16. xD;
 
I was thinking about getting KH 358/2 days but I dont know if its worth the money. It looks really fun to play and being able to use Org XIII characters and some other characters seems interesting. It just seems like replaying KH2 but on a DS with much lower graphics and somewhat different controls that look annoying. But I have some questions to ask before I decide to buy this, are the controls easy? How long is the game and how fun are the wi-fi games when you play with other people?

Well, they announced KH 358/2 Days and BBS in like 2007, and it came here 2 years later. so, I doubt it would be 2011, or 2012, cause it takes a while to make a game as good as they do.

1]Controls are pretty much like the PS2, like the X, B, A, Y are the same for a PS2 except A is resemble as O, so that is attack, and B will be Jump(if i was a PS2 it'll be X). But im use to it since thats how it is in the Japanese version.

2]it isnt a wi-fi game, it is wireless, only people that are your "real Life" friends that come over can play on thier DS.
 
Honestly, I don't really expect the next main KH game until 2013 or 2014 at the earliest. It's late 2009 now. Worst case, the KH team is working on FFXIII right up to November or December since the Japanese release date is late December. After that, they go right back to working on Versus which has been very slow lately in order to get XIII out the door. So let's say there's another 6 months to a year for that game. Brings us to the end of 2010. If they start working on a new KH game then, it'll probably be at least two years before that's done--possibly more because they'll likely be reworking the engine completely since it's not on PS2 anymore. :( Then you've got localization times for it to be translated to English after the Japanese release and... it'll probably take a while.

Yeah basically we should be happy getting these games. I hate when people think they are slow, I know alot of people that complain. But its a fact IMO that the longer it takes to make the game the better the game itself is gonna be.
 
I love how I let some hot girl trick me into thinking Kingdom Hearts 3 was coming out in the summer of 2007. ;_;

Well, I'm about to finally finish 358/2 days. What an epic game.
These bosses are starting to get insane, though. There's one boss I have to fight in Beast's Castle with a move that can't even be dodged...

o_O Which boss is that? I can't think of any that can't be dodged or blocked somehow.

lol I've almost finished all the easy challenge missions. It's kind of depressing because I JUST managed all the harder ones before the English version came out. Do not want to do them again. XD;
 
In twelve hours' time, I will have Days. 8D My mum is going to literally drop me off into the city, I'm gonna go in the store in cosplay, buy the game and then go home. :D I dunno if I'll be able to film it or anything though, 'cause I'll be going in on my own. =/

I don't remember the name but it was basically just one of those double blade bastards.
It jumps in the air while tracking you down, then when it lands not only do you take damage from that but it also releases a quake that covers the field.

I finally managed to dodge it and beat the heartless though. That stupid auto-lock panel was the problem. D:
When I tried to dodge I auto-locked and dodged straight into it's attack like a retard.

I can finally play again, and hopefully beat it so I can get on with my life lmao. <:
 
I'm cancelling my whole life for the next three days. XD Well, tomorrow I can't really do much because it's my bro's birthday, but Saturday and Sunday, I'm a free Roku~

I don't think you need to plan on canceling life for days to play it. xD
This game is epic, but it will forcefully consume your life.

I have a massive website project for a client to do, help 2 people with their ROM hack, work on my ROM hack, and work on a design for a project of mine and I haven't even started on ANY of that because of 358/2. @_@
My life is depending on me finishing this game right now rofl.

Get addicted carefully!

Ah, yeah, I tried auto-lock once and never bothered with it again. XD; It makes things so much harder. But those guys are really easy to dodge. Just wait till you see the shadow and then jump and air slide/glide out of the way. D: Rolling works too, iirc.

If I can hold a camera whilst I'm having a fangasm. :D My mum asked me today whilst we were shopping today what I'd do if there was a copy of the game on the shelf at that exact moment in time... XD Yeah...

The last boss battles were awesome. :D
It left me wanting moar though... They need to get it going with KH3.

Just beat all the missions with 100 percent, the airduster is the hardest boos I've seen in the KH series besides the Ice Titan in KH1. took me a good hour to get him, I actually had hi down on the last bar of life twice before I beat him, one time he hit me with his back flip attack and the other time I accidently went through the door and his HP was reset -.-'

A great game, anybody with a DS needs to have this game.

When my friend saw me playing it, it managed to convince him to get it and he's one of those guys who rag on KH all the time because of Dysney.
 
I'm most likely going to save up my money of getting a PSP, and then get Birth By Sleep when it's released.
