The last sequence confused me. The foreshadowing (well, not even foreshadowing, he actually was going the other way) suggested he would leave the bad guy alive. Yet the next scene showed us something different.

She wasn't really my favorite girl, so whatever. I find kinda silly most of the parasyte thing was left out to focus on the main character, but well, looking back, the show was always about that, rather than the monsters.
