Heyo! So, yeah. I'm Kurayami. I like icons. =) Here is my little graphics shop!

New in September! I have added an FAQ under the spoiler tag. You must read this before requesting! It is basically my list of rules in Q & A form. I will not post your request otherwise.

I decided to put up one of these and include questions I've been asked all over the place. Please read this before requesting or asking questions. If your question isn't here, feel free to ask me. (:

All answers officially apply as of September 1, 2007.

#1 How many requests will you take at a time?
I will take a maximum of five requests at one time.

#2 If someone requests a banner and avatar, do you count that as two requests?
Well, technically it is. However, I am currently not counting it as such.

#3 How long do I have to use my request?
Please use your request for a minimum of five days.

#4 Can I only use my request here at PC?
By all means, no! (: Just please let me know if you're going to use it elsewhere. I do, however, require credit is given as per usual. Feel free to link back to my graphics LiveJournal.

#5 Can I edit my request or any premade graphics?
No.

#6 Can I direct link?
No. If I catch you direct linking, you'll get a lovely surprise. :'D

#7 Will you please make my avatar bigger than 100x100?
I am officially opening the ability to request bigger icons. Note that most of the textures I use for backgrounds are 100x100, hence why I had the "no large icons" rule in the first place. So that means, depending on the overall request, you either won't get the same types of backgrounds I can use for smaller icons, or I'll just have to go through more work to recreate and expand the textures without them looking bad. I'll still try my best to make it look good.

#8 I don't like my request. / I feel like you didn't do your best for me.
I put the same amount of effort into each request I make. If your request is truly ugly, chances are it's because you gave me bad images. Bad image = bad graphic. I try to enhance image quality, but I can only do so much.

#9 I don't like ______ on my request, can I get that changed?
Absolutely! Please let me know if I made a mistake or if you just don't like something. I will get on it ASAP and change whatever it is you'd like. (:

#10 Do I have to provide an image?
Yes. I'm busy enough as it is, I cannot afford to lose even more time image hunting.

#11 Can I pick my own color scheme?
Well, yes and no. Under "Anything else" in the form, you can say that you'd like a certain color scheme. However, I cannot and will not promise that I will follow it. It's a lot harder to work with graphics if I'm given a LOT of boundaries, and the color scheme is the biggest of them all, IMO. So, I'll try to incorporate your requested color, but don't be surprised if your green, yellow, blue, pink, orange, and magenta request doesn't turn out like you planned.

#12 How long will it take for you to make my request?
That depends, really. If I have a whole lot of requests and yours is in it, you'll have to wait for me to post them ALL. I try to get each request done within 48 to 72 hours. However, sometimes my schedule builds up and I just cannot get it to you that soon. So please allow an absolute maximum of 5 days before nagging me about it. If I haven't gotten to your request by then, feel free to pester me. :'D

#13 What type of images do you work with?
I make graphics out of anime, manga, photography, stock images, etc. Anything, really.

#14 Do you take manga coloring requests?
Yes, for the most part, I color manga if requested and a reference pic is provided. However, though I'll happily color for icons and banners, if you want a whole image that's another story. Right now, I am not interested in taking full image coloring requests. If I ever decide to take them, we'll have to talk money since it takes up so much of my time.

For a pretty much complete and total gallery of my current work, visit my graphics journal. I don't really have any Pokémon stuff, though. =P

Haha, it seems there really are a lot of graphic artists here! It's only a side-hobby for me, though, so I'm not going to do this as a career. I bet there's a lot of people who have that in mind, though. It's pretty cool the talented people you can meet online nowadays. <3

You said you liked the coloring style I used on my example up above, so I want to see if you like this any better. It seemed to "flow" better with the icon, IMO. But since you are the one who shall use it, I want to check first before I make the banner. Please let me know if this style will be ok or if I should recolor it to look more manga-y. (:
