Languages

I speak three languages fluently. Spanish is my first language. English is literally a second tongue for me. Many times I'll catch myself thinking in English rather than Spanish. :P I speak Portuguese fluently too. I love it, everything from how it sounds to the constructions never cease to amaze me.

I want to learn many more languages too! I'll take French or German classes next. I can't decide lol. My wanting to learn list also includes Afrikaans, Russian, Japanese, Mandarin, Italian, Greek, Welsh, Serbian, Polish and Farsi in no particular order. It is a long list, hahaha.

Also, if you guys like languages you should all join the language club! It is a nice place and could really use more activity.

Hablé Español y Ingles. :)

I can speak English, Dutch and German quite fluently, and I also know a little French and Italian ;P

I was born in Germany and ive lived there for 21 years, and having a spanish mother and an italian dad, ive grown up learning 3 languages, which of course i can speak fluently now. Then i learned french and english at school, and spent a year in the US as an exchange student. I would venture to say my english is pretty fluent, my french used to be better, but since i dont really use it anymore i have forgotten most of it

Mainly English; I forgot my native language while learning English. Doing so, however, I've gained such a grasp at English that in the compulsory country wide tests, I got band 9/10s (in short, pretty damn high) in comprehension and spelling. I studied German for a year in 9th grade, and now I have fun blending English with German.

German's a nice language, ja?

I learned my native language properly last, there is also the local dialect, so that counts as two already.

Then I learned Japanese, just for fun, then French because mum wanted me to, Korean just for the lols again, Spanish because of my heritage, then lastly was German, school stuff.

I speak English fluently and I know the basics of Spanish, I plan on learning Japaneses but that's all.

Danish is my first language, but I honestly find English to be overturning that when it comes to general usage of it. I often think in English, and there's often when I communicate more in English than Danish in a day haha. Other than that, I had 3 years of mandatory German classes, and I'm in my first year of Spanish, so a bit of both of those :D I had a horrible German teacher through all 3 years though, so I was never really too interested in that language D:

I'm pretty fluent in French... or at least I was. I spent 5 years learning it in high school and I was always top of my class, but I've been out of school for 5 years now so I'm pretty rusty.

I can speak English, understand some basic conversational Spanish, Japanese, and ASL, and I can understand Swedish swearing very well but most other Swedish is lost on me. I'd like to learn since over 50% of my friends can speak it.

I speak 4 languages. Or 5 maybe. I don't even know.
Marathi, Aagri, English, Hindi, Sanskrit. I can understand Urdu, Gujarati, but not converse very fluently in them. I used to take German classes in junior college, but I left after a couple of weeks.

I speak Spanish and English, as my family is from Mexico, so Spanish was the main language spoken at home because my grandma never learned English, but now that my grandma passed away, English the main dominant language at home... I really want to learn Japanese (really love the language and culture) or Latvian (almost 90% of my favorite music is in Latvian)

Hm...
German as mother tongue
English has been learnt since 1st grade
French since 7th grade
Latin since 9th grade
I also know the entire Russian alphabet and know a few phrases as well
and a very few and random Japanese words
