Laptop or Desktop

All of my own main computers have been laptops. I like the fact that they don't take up a lot of space, since space is a commodity that I'm not willing to give up. Plus, like others, I like the fact that it's portable. This way, when I'm at school, I can just bring my laptop along and get online anywhere without worries. Makes it exceptionally handy to have.

As for gaming? My laptop can handle the only computer game I play, which would be the Sims 2. And I'm right up there with my fellow Simmers, who play on desktops in terms of graphics and speed (sometimes I'm even better).

So I wouldn't want a desktop. They're too clunky, cumbersome, and large. Why should I waste all that space when I can get the exact same with my laptop?
 
I have both, actually. But I prefer my laptop to my desktop by faaar, I only use my desktop when my laptop starts acting up. Laptops are just so much more convenient then desktops, I like being able to have my computer in whatever room I'm in, not be limited to just one.
 
I only have a desktop, mainly because I need my big TFT screens (24" plus!). I've seriously adjusted to pretty much not being able to do work on small screens!

That being said, I might get the eee 900 from Asus later in the year, purely because I'm a gadget freak :)
 
I'm a lappy person, mainly because my old desktop was just awful. My friend help me pick it out, and because he's a real computer nerd, we spent like a month researching and picking out the best lappy we could. Effectively, I went without a computer for almost 3 weeks which is like going cold turkey with drugs and ciggies for me. ><
 
I'm slightly more of a desktop user, I use it a lot and where I mainly do my work, assignment, gaming and downloading heh, but I own both anyways simply cause I need a laptop for Uni.

Laptop. I usually went to PC using a Desktop, though the latter got broken... T_T

I prefer Laptop, because of it's portability... ^^

Not that much, really, though I would love to have both. ^^
 
I share a Desktop with my brother. I don't really want a laptop but I can't wait until he gets one. I hate sharing...

I own my own laptop, but we have two other desktops in the house, one which I used to share with my sister, but now it's all hers.

What do you prefer?
Well, both the desktops are old, outdated, crappy, and slow, and my laptop's not even a year old. This laptop's tank enough for me to play the Sims 2 on it, and it doesn't lag, unlike both desktops. It's fast, and really, really reliable.

Do you want the one you do not have?
I'm pretty happy with my laptop. <3
