Do you like to battle after battle after battle after battle? Or do you prefer to avoid battles like Zubats when going through caves?
I like to battle everyone I see and run in the grass a lot, but sometimes, when I'm at a long route or cave, like Twist Mountain, I just want to skip battles and move ahead. So, what about you? Do you like to run into multiple battles with Trainers or Wild Pokemon? Or do you just want to get to the next city and FAST?

    Moving this over to PGC.

Please read the announcement next time.
    Thanks.

Max Repels = My best friend.
Wild Pokemon in caves really annoy me, so I often stock up on Repels before going.

    I am, however, quite a perfectionist, so I try to battle / talk to everyone in the game, just encase I miss something. D;

I tend to avoid some wild Pokemon encounters such as Zubats and Rattatas. I also try to avoid trainer battles, because I just think they're going to use pointless Pokemon such as Magikarp, Geodude, and Rattata. Battling is still my thing, though, because it trains my Pokemon.

Never run from wild battles. Never use Repels. Never skip a trainer. I'm an exp *****, what can I say?

I like battling everyone I see, but I'm a massive coward and wimp, so always check Bulbapedia before each battle so I can put the right Pokemon at the top of my line-up. Unforseen circumstances scare the crap out of me...

As for wild Pokemon, unless I'm trying to level my team for a gym battle, or trying to catch a critter to put on my team, I normally just avoid them all. I get my experience mainly from trainer battles and the like. However, it's rare that I'll use Repels or anything like that: mainly because I just never spend money in the games. I just tough it out battling Zubats and Woobat and all the other bats that may come my way.

    I love battling trainers :D

In terms of wild pokémon I just tend to run unless I'm training a certain member of my team. If I'm not training and I encounter a pokémon that I know gives good EXP points, I battle it. The rest of the time I just catch it if it's cool lol.

I battle every trainer everywhere because I like the exp they give. You can battle the trainers and never step foot in the grass and still have high enough levels to make it to the next gym and/or area.

But when I am looking for a certain pokemon or I need to grind a few levels so I can be extra prepared, I like to fight the wild pokemon. But I hate battling over and over again, so repels do come in handy.

I battle every single trainer because I have this irrational fear that if I don't find every single one of them I'll never beat the Elite Four. Wild Pokemon battles I just run from though, normally. Unless I'm level-grinding.

Yeah, I like to battle all the trainers, every single one (although I seem too miss out some i.e in the Domes in Nimbasa city) but I'm not going to on my Black run. It helps out in the long run for E4 you don't end up underleveled and it makes the game longer/fun/challenging.

it seems to me that the encounter rate inside caves is much higher than the encounter rate while walking in grass (or dark grass). so yeah, i spam max repels inside caves. especially inside the victory road.

From the beginning to I'd say the 2nd or 3rd gym, I fight everything I come across while leveling my pokemon up quickly to 20-30 or so, after that, I just fight every trainer and flee/use repels to avoid wild battles, since they are just so much lower and give half the XP at a point where you need a LOT to get a level.

When I'm not in the mood to battle a wild Pokemon, I run from it, especially if it's something I already caught. If I haven't caught it yet, I battle and try to catch it.

I battle most wild pokemon so that I don't have to spend an eternity grinding.

It depends, If my pokemon are lower level than what i want, or if I want a pokemon to evolve I battle. But in caves I just max repel.
