I'm right by the fossil maniac in mt moon, and I hope to have my magikarp evolved before misty. I probably will have to grind for awhile though. (Magicarp levels so slowly it seem like.)

Ugh, especially for Lt. Surge. Didn't even think about that when I wrote this originally...

Grind To lvl 30 gyardos and wartortle will both have bite and will own surge
also you know if nidoran f is in route 3 on fire red

I'm doing flying, actually, so wartortle is a no.
And I know the nidorans are there, oh, and sorry, misread your comment. But yeah, they're rare

They're there. On my FR file for the mono nidoran male, I ran into a few female. they're rare though... According to this 1% chance. Good luck.
 
No real update for today. Both my pokemon are level 18, and that's the only change...Had a busy day.

Small Update:
Cleared SS Anne up to Rival battle, Should pwn him with my superior level.

Primeape is lv 34 now. Otherwise team is the same as post #31
 
Nice video, flaps you did sound a bit nervous in it but we could see what you were doing. A word of advice, next time you're recording use the in built recorder in the Visual Boy Advance (If you are using the VBA) as it is better and had clear quality.
 
Hmm, I've never did a monotype challenge. I'll take ground since most of the other good types are taken.
 
You'll have to forgive me if I don't update as often as I do on weekends. School work gets in the way, you know? (I hope to have an every other day pattern with this and the other challenge I am participating in.)

This looks fun. It would be pretty fun to run through the game with just bug Pokemon. I'll start soon.

Edit: Started bug run through. Game time is 1:26 and I still don't even have the first badge. I can't see any other species to have as many problems.

Well everyone I wont be able to update over the weekend cause im away, But ill still be doing the challenge :P

So time for an update i think eh?:

Cleared SS Anne Completely and claimed HM01 Cut.
Went through Digletts cave, Got some Items and went back through.
Destroyed Lt.Surge with my amazing Primeape.
Claimed Bike ticket and then claimed Bike.
Beat all trainers on Route 11
Beat all trainers on Route 9
Entered rock tunnel
Caught Machop lv 16.
Currently training Machop until advancing through rock tunnel.
