Well that would be kind of pointless. I haven't transitioned at all. With a family like that, you have to understand, right? >_<

I wasn't asking simply to see someone between transition :p I was just curious in general. Give us your weight/height and I'll make a mental image.

Aw, Eпvy, I'm so sorry she did that to you. What a... yeah, can't swear.

I hate the "be a man" line you get from family. Mine doesn't know so I can sort of look past it, but yours... that's so insensitive it's downright hateful.

What the French, toast?

Even if you're proud of who you are, one thing you need in times like that is family to support you through it all. If your own family isn't truly there to support you, it makes you feel like no one will and that on it's own makes you regret so much about yourself. Even if they don't agree or even respect the choices you've made in your life - not that sexuality is exactly a choice, since I believe you can't just wake up and decide what sex you're attracted to (unlike those who believe being bi or gay is a choice)... it doesn't really hurt to show your child, your sibling, your... anything... that you support them through the rough times.

You are a strong and controlled individual, Eпvy. If I was in your situation, I would have raged so much and showed my violent side... which is usually very subtle. I was having thoughts just reading what you were going through, let alone going through it myself.

Wow, Envy, your sister was being a total jerk there. :/

Sometimes situations like this can prune the dead-heads from your circle of friends, but it's not as easy to do the same with your family.

In other news, I've decided I'm going to announce via Facebook my sexuality over the Easter holidays (when no one can hassle me for it, and there's time for the fuss to die down etc.etc.)

This way, my friends will get to know, and my family... meh. Not many of them use Facebook and I'm not really... bothered (?) about them knowing yet. :/

First of all, read your Bible. Second of all... Killing is one of the ten commandments, homosexuality is not. They are not on the same level, if homosexuality is even in a sin in the first place.

Oh don't worry I didn't post it here. You know that I'm MtF (if you don't, well now you do. XD) Well I told my sister around a year ago, and she claimed to support and accept me.

Well yesterday she was just really rude. My mom and I were sitting in the front seat (and my sister, along with my aunt who doesn't know about me, were both sitting in the back seat) Well my dad leaves the driver's door open, and it's "cold" (not in actuality, but it could be 70 degrees and cold to these people.) I'm sitting on the right side, my mom is sitting in the middle. She starts complaining about how 'cold' it is. So I tell her to close it herself. I mean, it's only logical as it would be WAY easier for her to do it (I'd have to literally get out of the car and go to the other side.) and then my sister says ""Come on, *male name* (emphasis on it >_>), you're the man, you need to learn how to be a man."

Yes, this is my sister who claimed to be supportive and accepting of me. This is not the first time she has been really rude to me about it, several months ago (after I told her what my 'chosen name' was and asked her politely to refer to me by it in private), she also decided that she would take that name and say "When I have a daughter I want to name her 'my chosen name'." Not only has she NEVER even tried to refer to me by that name, she has also said my male name in EVERY. SENTENCE. she has spoken since I told her about it... and this was a total slap to the face.

She got on my last nerve yesterday, though. If my aunt had not been there I would have snapped. I kind of did, but I did not say anything other than her name in a very stern voice.

And then I posted on Facebook (of which my sister has one too) "Why do I have to be surrounded by such insensitive jerks?" After my sister had been taken home she responded to that status with something like "In this world there are people who only think of themselves. We have to move on and ignore them even though it's hard."

My brain has officially been broken. This is truly one of those moments where I just want to slam my head on my desk repeatedly.

I'm sorry that your sister wants to rub it around like it's some kind of joke. My sisters rarely bring up my sexuality and when they do, they don't play around with it like what NarutoActor does with his toys.

I respect you highly, and the fact that you told your sister in the first place shows me the strength and respect you have for yourself when it comes to who you really are.

Not that this is on topic but does anyone else feel as if they're not attracted to the stereotype of gay people (you know, flaming divas and biker lesbos)
I find myself way attracted to straight guys.

*Bangs head on table*

Nah, I see your points. I just see it as not moral and I do base my views on God. We were created from God so it makes sense, to base everything you do on God.
Uhh, I dunno about you ~ but I was created by my Mum and Dad making luuuurve.

Oh, I didn't know you were for slavery, racial superiority, sexual inequalities, regulating hairstyle and clothing (communist), and the physical punishment of children.

And if you're not for those, you sir, contradict your own logic; thus an idiot. Why though? Why does that make you an idiot? Because you're picking and choosing what in the Bible to have faith in. What gives you the right to say "Oh, that is what I am going to believe in! But not that!"

I didn't realize you were such an important religious official where you could pick and choose what in the Bible is important. Excuse me.

And I too was created by sexy-time.

Lol, everybody was created by sexy-time.Except test-tube babies. And worms (They're made by masturbation).

Ummm...and, not everybody who believes in God is a communist,pro-slavery and racism, male-superiority-believing, and physical punishment of children.Although kids do need a slight bit of punishment (not caning and stuff, though).

If we don't pick what to believe in, we get confused, as, sadly, the Bible contradicts itself. The one in my church anyway.

I personally don't have anything against homosexuality.I have a lot of opposition to stereotypes, on the other hand.

Gragh, I hate religion. I don't even wanna get into it. >.<

In other news, I'm on FB, I have my mouse hovering over the check box that would change my preference from 'Men' to 'Men' AND 'Women' and thinking to myself, "Just do it! Hit the button! Do it! Do it!"

And yet I daren't.

Graaarrrrrgh.

Do it, do it, do it! You'll love it <3

*peer pressures* is it working yet? *pressures more* do it do it you know you wanna ;D

You obviously missed the entire point to what I said.

My point was: What gives people the right to pick and choose what is correct and what is outdated in the Bible?

You're missing the point. WHY is it that all of these other things that the Bible is against are seen as "outdated" but homosexuality isn't?

It's ridiculous.

(and sorry I've read the responses to my post, I'll respond to them later!)

The peer pressure is getting there... but I shall not be overcome!

I'm sticking to the Easter plan and nothing can change my mind!

*sits in corner and crosses arms*

Lots of people don't agree with the anti-homosexuality....

Obviously, the guy who posted earlier did, judging by the quotations....

......I know hundreds of people, and they all believe more in the "love thy neighbour" stuff than the *sorry bout the language*:"hang the homos" stuff.

Ummm...and what gives people the right it,um...Human Rights?Seeing as if we all took everything literally, there'd be some major Human Rights infringements stuff going on.
Like I said, personally, despite being confirmed into the church, I believe most of the stuff like that is outdated, it's only the stuff about forgiveness, etc. that's ok.

There are major human rights violations going on. Just because it doesn't happen where you live, that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Also, that isn't an answer. People don't have to follow the law. The *choose* to.

yeh, homophobic **** is everywhere racism is there in corneres, I just hope those people die a slow death

I'm still reading this thread, but thought I may as well post now. I'm straight, but have nothing wrong with gays, bi-sexuals, pansexuals, asexuals or any other kind of sexuality. I have had bi-curious thoughts, but I've never met a guy that made think that I want to... you get the picture.

As for the choice v birth argument, I disagree with both sides. I think that you are affected by how you are raised. I mean take the ancient Greek, they clearly thought of homosexuality as perfectly usual. If you were raised in a place where bisexuality was the norm, chances are you would be bisexual. If you were raised in a town of homosexuals (mind you, actually being born in the first place would be difficult) you would be far more likely to be gay.
