It might be more beneficial for example, if there was a gay person in a religious family, the whole conflicts there...
Canada is basically like every other European country, only with a North American accent (American accent.) But they spell a few words differently and say some words differently. Not many.Well I agree, it would be beneficial to hear that, but every time somebody who knows what it's like (like Envy for example) tries to speak about it, everybody decides it's time for a bible fight and nobody listens.
It would best just to acknowledge that there will never be a consensus on the subject and move on. After all we're only re-hashing the same old arguments again and again.
So Feign, you were saying about Canada? What's the story there? (For us Europeans who know nothing of the Americas) ^_^'
And you get to giggle that it's a birthright in the US to own a gun, but not to have good health XDCanada is basically like every other European country, only with a North American accent (American accent.) But they spell a few words differently and say some words differently. Not many.
So yeah.
Canada = Most of Europe > All
A fun sport in Canada, because it borders with the US, is "America-watching" where you just watch the US plunge itself into an economic and social sink hole. :]
I also don't like how some parts of the bible denounces homosexuality, yet it occurs in the animal kingdom on occasions (according to studies). It doesn't seem right to me.
No, I'm saying you can't say something is right or wrong based on animal's behaviour. Are you saying they do it more often than my previous post admitted?
Maybe you wonder it because you have a misconception of god.In law, and common morality, you'd be right.
However, if homosexual attraction is indeed a rare natural urge, then why does it exist? Surely God wouldn't install that into anything he created.
Such as what? Being naked in public?Animals do a lot of stuff unproper for humans, keep in mind.

It was natural for us too before we built social constructs to limit our own freedoms. That's not even any "god's" fault, that's ours.
I greatly prefer religious debates over "lololol this guy i saw was hot :3" which is what this thread devolved into many pages ago. >_>; At least this garners discussion, even if you can have the exact same discussion in two other threads in OC. orz.Argh!! Can we please stop this endless debate about religion?! Why don't we start a new thread called "Are the homo's going to hell?" and keep it in there?!
I think it's just kind of a non-issue. :( It's never really spoken about here because either no one cares or it's just... not a huge, controversial deal. I actually don't know any of the details on it (regarding the national "stance") and I live in Canada. xD; I'm sure one day it'll come up and we'll either approve/disapprove of it on a national scale, but until then, we have other issues to tackle, I guess. :/But yeah, Canada is like the cooler (pun intended) version of the US. It's great that they allow same sex marriage, adoption, and everything else which we should have down here in the states, but from what I read they're completely silent on gender identity issues. I guess that's better than outright discrimination though. Yay Canada! You (mostly) rule!
You're wrong according to the christian dogmas. There must be religions that accept other things, but christianity isn't the flickest one.

Pachy is trying to justify why she/he thinks homosexualism should be accepted by religions using biological examples, but most of the religions see the humankind as the highest specie and could never be compared to an animal.
If God does create something that is as intelligent as we humans are, or something very close to it, then I'd think they could comprehend religion anyway.
