What I meant is you're neither when you're born. You're a blank slate. How you become gay, straight, a transvestite or whatever is by someone influencing you, or you making that decision yourself. In your case, someone told you that gay was bad, so you're not gay. Pretty easy to understand, yes?

Incorrect. Nobody "told" me that I was transgendered. I just felt that I was a girl from a *very* young age. In-fact, my earliest memories are of feeling like something was very wrong with who I was. Explain?~

I was born transgendered. Gay people are born gay. You're right about social conditioning in one regard tho; sometimes gay people never ACCEPT that they're gay because it's forced down their throat that it's a bad thing to be. They'll pretend to be straight, sometimes even get married and have kids. But they're never truly happy~

Ok. Let's just get this straight (no pun intended):

Sexuality is NOT a choice.

The environment I grew up in was pretty hostile towards gays, my school and most of of my Dad's side of the family where incredibly homophobic. Now, prey tell, why would I choose to be gay? Granted I lived in denial for around 5 years but I did make the "choice" back then as that's around the time I started noticing I lived on the other side of the village to most I was in a very homophobic environment, what would possess me to THINK being gay would be the right course of action? Do I WANT to get discriminated against because I get my jollies out of people hating me? No. I was born like it. Okay?

Also, what about animals that have lower brain function than a human? Do they choose to be gay despite not being capable of doing so? Funny that.

And also I should probably point this out:
