this is my opinion on gays:
its unnatual to me and many other ppl and if ppl start to accept
them there will be more gays. and if the whole world by some chance turns gay....
we're screwed so if youre gonna youre one step closer to ending mankind just cuz you wanna take it up the ass

he means if everyone was gay there'd be no more conception and thus people will die out.

Perhaps, but still, that seems like a trollish thing to do. If you're being serious, GaggliusHacks, please explain further how acceptance of gay people will lead to the whole world turning gay. -.-

highlighted statement is where anything resembling an arguent you may have had fall to pieces. I advocate acceptance of homosexuals, yet I'm still a fully functional heterosexual myself. I don't foresee an orientation that has historically only applied to 10%-20% of the population to explode into an epidemic threatening the survival of our species in the near future. XD

Sure, I'll bite.

this is my opinion on gays:

Oh look, the complete absence of any form of grammar, this should be fun.

Yes, completely unnatural, that explains why it happens completely naturally, or let me guess I'm being corrupted by the Devil or Satan or something? Does the same apply to animals who go the way of homosexuality? Bats have the highest gay:straight ratio of any species, are they also unnatural? What about birds that mate for life that also occasionally swing that way, are they also corrupted?

and if ppl start to accept them there will be more gays.

No, there'll be the same number of gays, just less of them will be in the closet because they're scared of bigots like you. Accepting the existence of a culture or group doesn't make people more likely to turn that way, does hanging around tall people make you tall?

and if the whole world by some chance turns gay....

As unfathomably unlikely as that is, have you never heard of artificial insemination? Not like this well ever happen but hypothetically if it did the problem could be easily solved with a cup and a turkey baster. Even then if humanity was at stake and the future of it rested on having heterosexual coitus for the sake of keeping it going I'm sure of few of us could step to the task.

we're screwed so if youre gonna youre one step closer to ending mankind just cuz you wanna take it up the ass

Yeah, because forget about war, world hunger, disease and all that actually deadly stuff. It's people "taking it up the ass" we need to worry about, they're the real problem here right? Why love men when we could be killing them on the battlefield all in the name of oil, religion or fabled weapons of mass destruction or for the sole reason we just don't like their faces?

I don't understand some people's love toward and will for the mankind to last forever. We're in the 21th century, there're more than 6 bi inhabitants in this world. I think in this point gays who'd choose to raise others kids would be just useful, heh.

does hanging around tall people make you tall?

I wish it did lol. Pff, I don't see what all the fuss is about, people should just be the way they want to be. A lot of people have issues with me because I'm a girl that enjoys certain male interests (such as video games) and apparently that's also wrong and unnatural. Well the world would be a boring place if you listened to all the jerks out there.

I'm a straight person and it's hard to imagine myself liking another girl, but that's merely from a sexual point of view. There's nothing to say I won't meet a girl who I get on with better than any other guy. In the end you can't really help who you fall in love with, and whoever or whatever they may be, nothing should stop you.

It's not usually fun, because they don't budge on their position... Just like the religious folk, they are so blindly convicted about the faith they don't understand (okay, well some of them, not all, let's make that clear, I am not generalizing).

That's why I don't bother with debating with people who merely want to troll (or at least seem to want to).

That reminds me of a Tim Minchin quote - "Science adjust its beliefs based on what's observed, faith is the denial of observation so that beliefs can be preserved."

So, I was wandering through wikipedia (I know, not the best place to get information) when I came across this little page called "Affectional orientation" which said
Affectional orientation (or romantic orientation) is used both alternatively and side-by-side with sexual orientation. It is based on the perspective that sexual attraction is but a single component of a larger dynamic. To holders of this view, one's orientation is defined by with whom one is predisposed to fall in love, whether or not one desires that person sexually. Lately, the predominant use of the term "sexual orientation" is considered to reduce a whole category of desires and emotions, as well as power and connection, to sex.
This makes a certain amount of sense to me since I tend to fall for certain types of people.

Thoughts?

I'm stupidsexual. My friends always laught at me for looking at a girl's face rather than the body. (Don't get me wrong.. HAWT BODY FTW. But eh, decent is still good.)..But, I mean, it's not like she's gonna walk around naked at home though.
Sometimes I use whatever girls get up in their darn minds "look at the eyes" then I do it like a moron, great way to spend some quality time with yourself. Sorta =/
Anyway, forget about stupidsexual. I just made that up so you'll get interested. I'm straight, but if you're gay (I will do evil things to gay people, only annoying ones though), or lesbian, or both, or whatever - I respect that.
That's my point. Nobody has been killed for being gay either, at least in this decade.
Actually, a few months ago we had an *insert bad word unsuited for Pokemon here* in Israel that killed some people at a party of gay/lesbian. A girl from my school (before I came to it) got killed during it. While she was straight, not lesbian.

Anyway, it appears that girls have a higher chance to be bisexual than boys. Or rather they're more open about it, at least.

Honestly, Im gonna be as bluntly clear as I can with this... whether people get offended or not is your own problem, and I'm merely stating my opinion... I consider myself as omnisexual (if you dont know what it is, either ask or look it up)

Being gay, or lesbian, or bisexual, or what have you, is NOT a choice... it's not really up to a person themselves to choose who they fall in love with... so what if you happen to find the true love of your life in the same bathroom as you? All this "Being gay is so unholy" is such a hypocritical crock it's sad...

If anyone pays attention to the contradiction in the government saying that there is a need for the separation of church and state, that would end any controversy on the morality of gay marriage or whatever. It's just a way the government is using religion to say that being in a same-sex relationship is wrong, and it's sickening that people would be so conservatively backwards to hold that mindset...

I myself have a girlfriend, and we've been together for almost three years and I am beyond happily in love with. She and I both support the LGBT community, because the way I see it is this (and take it in whatever way you want...) And honestly, if we were both men or both women, we would still love each other no differently than we do now.

If a man who loves another man cannot be happy and live and love together the way a man and a woman, who society dictates as the "right way", what "right" does the opposite sex couple have to be happy? Because there are alot of cases of marriages between men and women that are less than happy, yet that's still seen as the proper thing. Yet if two men or two women are happy together, society will look at them like they're freaks. And yet, as I saw reading some earlier posts, a man would not say one word if he saw two women together, but would not keep quiet if he saw two men together. So what makes the two couples any different?

I apologize if any of this sounded like flame or whatever. I just feel very strongly about this issue, and I would really like to see the day where people can love who they want, regardless of which locker room they use, and those who think homosexuals are sinners are unable to do anything.

I'm not a homosexual.

But I do think the way they're treated is absolutely unfair.

And Gay means happy, I don't understand why it is used to describe people who are homosexual. :/

Paul, did you hear about Texas trying to cover up the Separation of Church and State in their books?

Can you believe how absurd that is? How can any conservative advocate such a terrible thing? I don't know about the rest of you, but I've been raised to believe that one of the values that America was founded with was freedom of religion.

The instant we start letting religion into the government, the instant we lose that freedom... The Bible and Christianity has no place in our government.

I've said before that I believe that the vast majority of Christians who condemn homosexuality are not truly opposed to homosexuality because their Bible says so - Instead they're hiding behind it. Well, I say lets pull the rug out from right under them and say "We are not a theocracy, sorry."

It's ridiculous that gay marriage isn't legalized anyway... I guess that the separation of church and state no longer means anything to our higher-ups.

Totally agree tbh, since when did straight people "choose" to be straight? You have no control over it so no use having the church or your parents or anyone telling you you do. Thankfully my parents are fully understanding and totally cool with it, god knows where'd I'd be if they wheren't. Although, this is the part where we get into Nature vs. Nurture which is always fun.

I'm glad there's the word gay to represent it tbh, "homosexual" sounds to... clinical, imo.

I watched Family Guy a couple days ago, and Louis said something like this:

"If people are gay, they should still have the right to marry. If two men are together, being the happiest couple they can be, it is frowned upon by society. But if a man and woman are married, but hate each other, it is okay. Why take away the right to be happy?"

She is my favourite character now ;3
