Now that we've all got a great feel for GO and we've been spamming the heck out of it, how long do you think you'll be playing for? Do you think you'll always come back to the game, or are you getting bored already?

I went through a period at around Level 10 where I was becoming disheartened at the lack of decent Pokemon I was finding, but as my levels have increased i'm slowly starting to find rarer and stronger beasts. I'm happy to soldier on, the grinding doesn't bother me as it's something I do in the main series of games.

I won't stop until I catch all the ones I possibly can, I'm hoping they release the next gen soon but I think I will disappointed on that front as I think it's been hinted at about every 6 months.
I'm not bothered with legendaries as I never cared about them in the main games but I really want all the dragon evolutions and eeveelutions

Personally I still play pretty much every day. I'll take the odd day off if I'm tired or feeling lazy but I'll usually find a way to get a couple of hours of playtime in. GO is loaded on my phone for the majority of the time I'm awake for anything that spawns nearby (this tends to passively hatch eggs by the way, abuse it ♥) and I'll often go out for walks or head to the shop as an excuse to pick up some more cuties and take down a gym or two. Mostly right now I'm loving hatching eggs, it's like a lottery and I find it really exciting so it's a great motivator to keep heading out haha. Probably should try gambling...

I want to continue for a long while. We're a month into it now and GO still gets my brother and I out and about every night which is a great thing. I doubt we'll lose interest since the range of Pokémon we find keeps getting bigger as we level, plus there are future updates to look forward to that will bring new things in to capture. Can't wait! Even if the app wasn't as huge as it is I'd still be playing it obsessively. ♪

I expect I'll keep going until such a time as I've completed the pokedex. Since it's possible to get just about everything with enough eggs, I'm unlikely to lose heart because something doesn't seem to come up where I live; it'll just be a matter of time until I hatch whatever I need. I probably won't worry too much about the region-exclusives and stop playing so much when I have everything but them, but if ever I travel to another region I'll whip my phone out and have a look around.

All that having been said, I'm only on 60 or so in my Pokedex, and I fully expect that gen 2 will be released before I find all the gen 1 ones and render such questions moot :P

I'll probably stop playing when my friends sop playing and I won't have anybody to chase Pokemon with me :(

It'll be harder to keep playing if other people around me stop. Right now I've been busy and tired so I haven't done much in the last week, but I often check my phone anyway to see what's around. The biggest thing that would get me to stop playing would be if they don't ever bring back some way to track Pokemon and/or make it possible to find certain types in one's area. If the game goes for another month and all I can expect to find are the same 10 or 20 Pokemon I've been finding then I don't see how I'd want to keep playing.

luckily for me there is a park close to where i live that has tons of pokemon/pokestops and a lot of people come to play there. i've recently complete my goal of evolving into a gyarados so that's great. i really am looking forward to more updates of the app that are hopefully soon to come...battling..trading...etc.

It seems to be the sort of game that you can easily stop playing and come back to later. If they keep the content fresh, and possibly change up the in-game world periodically they may hold my attention for a while. Some random moves of pokestops and gyms, or at least some that float from place to place would be pretty cool.

People who hold jobs that allow them to play at work and are near Pokestops/Gyms have a huge advantage over us with normal jobs so that could be a discouragement long term.
