3rd Gen Lucky Egg

I heard that u can catch a chansey in the safari zone with an item called the lucky egg!

the best thing is this lucky egg is apparently meant to double exp gained!

is this true?

Yep, it sure is. But the chances of catching a Chansey with the item are very slim.

It's almost impossible. Catching chansey is already hard enough.

yeah, i think its only 1 in 200 chanseys come with a lucky egg. if you can, i would shark it, but if you want to do it the real way, you'd better set aside a long time, cause it will take awhile.

Yeah, it's really hard to catch a Chansey in the first place; to catch one holding a lucky egg is near impposible. I wouldn't recommend doing this, unless you have lots of time and money on your hands.

Oh, wow, now I know just how lucky I was!

When I went into the Safari Zone the very first time in FR, the last pokemon I caught that time was a Chansey. I caught it merely because it showed up, I wasn't after it at all: I think it was also the same session I caught my Shiny Doduo, and I'd got a handful of Safari pokemon already. It wasn't until I went to move them around on the PC that I discovered that the Chansey was holding a Lucky Egg. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware of the potentials of the Egg: I gave it to my Articuno to hold whilst in storage, just to keep it out of the way. As for the Chansey, I bred it with a ditto, then put it away too, and evolved the egg hatched Chansey into a Blissey.

Now, wouldn't you call that capture a bit of good luck?

poor poor coolmaster. now i'm heading for 10 eggys(i say that in another thread already) now i got two lucky eggys 36 chansies. that take alot of time.

if a pokemon in fr\lg has a move [sweet scent] pokemon can just run to you without wasting steps,but i'm doubting you can find that move in fr\lg iv'e only played fr and i havent found a sweet scent move.

With their evolutions, that may be the complete list of pokemon who learn it from the original 150...but I'm not sure =/

I only had to capture 3 Chansey to get my Lucky Egg. :) I ran into a lot more Chansey, but all of the other Chansey fled. :(

i got an eggy, i got an eggy i just caught a chansey a min ago and it got an eggy. now i got 3!

Eh, in one day (1 hour of playing time that day) I ran into 12 chanseys by doing the changing direction trick. I only caught one, though.
