well, I suppose Charlie's simple statement is in and of itself more convincing, lol. McGucket is, at least, someone who cannot have been recruited and provided their role to Ivan to use as a claim.

My final suspicion for Ivan was gimmepie. Obviously, that's already exhausting the entire player list, so it's no more to go off of than what we have.

But we could choose between GP and acatfrommars, I suppose

So that makes the ratio actually 2 : 2 : 3 of town : mafia : cult, and this is the surviving cast

Guess what? That means two of the town claims are false. Which means one of the following four people is Ivan, and a second is a recruit

And I suppose it's possible Bard was recruited last night and is using the "Wiz decided to start enforcing this rule" as an explanation for his lack of information.

But that still gives us a fifty percent chance of hitting a cult member or Ivan by lynching one of those four.

And if we can somehow verify Charlie's claim as McGucket (it's p much clear if we can prove that McGucket isn't dead), then that removes him from the list and gives us a 66% chance.
 
If we lynch Ivan then the mafia win. However, if we lynch a mafia and mafia kills Ivan or cultist then the town still has a chance.
 
Actually, the town can't win, unless the baddies willingly throw the game.

If a mafia is lynched and then a cultist is NKed, then the ratio shall be 2 : 1 : 2 not counting the cult's new recruit, and the cult could very easily recruit the last mafia member and win by default, or they could recruit one of the town and . . . win by default.

If a cultist is lynched and then another cultist is killed, the ratio would then become either 2 : 1 : 2 again, if a mafia is recruited, or 1 : 2 : 2, if a town member is recruited.

Not to mention that you, d00f2, a member of the cult, can't be killed on the first attempt.

So yeah, for the town, this situation is completely unwinnable. At this point, it's just up to them to decide who they want to lose to, I suppose.

And on that note, I don't really care who they choose at this point.
