Make-a-Mega

There are a lot of really cool Pokemon out there that just don't hold up competitively. Generation Six however gave us a way to fix this: Mega Evolution. This allows Pokemon that are otherwise not very useful to suddenly become useable in a higher tier.

With Make-a-Mega we're choosing Pokemon that we'd like to see with a Mega Evolution and then as a community making the changes (or lack thereof) to its typing, ability and stats to raise it from the depths of the low tiers. This time around we're going to finally shut Castform up by creating a Mega Evolution for well... Castform.

We can make all the on-paper changes we like, but no Mega Pokemon is complete without an awesome new design. That's we're all you fantastic artists come in. We're asking you to design a Mega Castform over the next two weeks and three days. After that we'll run a four day poll to determine whose design will be featured in the corresponding Daily article (although a link to all the provided art will be included).

On account of Castform being something of an odd Pokemon, we'll be keeping you closely updated on all the on-paper changes. At the time of this thread going up we're working on deciding a typing.

Guidelines
1. You can only submit one design.
2. Comment your intent to participate (You're welcome to participate as a group).
3. Only post the finished version of your design.

I'm probably going to try sketching ideas tonight or tomorrow because this sounds like a rad Mega design. So yeah I'm participating probably but I don't think I'll do a collab this time.​

So, Mega Castform's type has been decided. There's actually going to be three Mega Castform's depending on the stone it Mega Evolves with with it becoming either a Fire, Water or Ice type depending.

You're not required to draw all of these forms but props if you do.

Do you think maybe you could draw my designs? You're actually an artist, ahah, so if you think my designs are decent enough, perhaps you can make more proper art of them? If you have suggestions for improvements, we can talk about that ofc :D

I can provite an Ice version too, haha, I had ideas I just didn't get around to it.
