As overall species, these might be my top-6 (excluding Legendaries/Mythicals):

Horrible team competitively, but I'd rather lose using my favorites than win using Pokémon that are meaningless to me.

My favorites have shifted a bit since this post—now I'd swap Froslass for Leafeon and Sneasel for Mothim. (I'd be tempted to swap Lickitung for Alolan Sandslash since I enjoy the latter's design more, but Lickitung feels more significant to me and is easier to imagine having on my team IRL).
