Very gen 2, but before the introduction of fairy type, these guys covered type weakness and HM (without one being used as a slave) in the game, and we're my standard go to team for a very long time.

Actually Altaria and Tyranitar are among my favourites but I put them because I've also used them in quite a few playthroughs. Volcarona, Dewgong, Chandelure, Ledian, Furret, Victreebel, Lapras, Relicanth, and Spiritomb are other favourites that could have been there

I really am annoyed by the Gen 1 pandering, and especially the fact that Charizard is getting too much attention from Game Freak, but I do love it a lot, it's a main member in my Doubles team along with Garchomp. Also, too much SInnoh and Unova, I know, you can cringe if you want to. Arcanine is way cooler better than Infernape, but, we're speaking of favourites, so, this is the team :P It's kinda like what Game Freak did,in my opinion, but when it matters, I'd prioritise many Pokemon over my favourites.

Considering 90% of my favorite Pokémon are either legendary or mythical, I'm going to exclude most of them as to not have some kind of super overpowered team.
I'm no pro at balancing and stats, so I will not be listing moves or anything like that.

OK, so my team will first of all start with a funny looking Gengar!
Then of course, Weavile, my favourite Pokémon.
Next, I wil most likely have a beautiful Shiny Hydreigon, as well as a lovely Crobat and probably a Clefable for support.
Lastly, I'll have a Shiny Gengar holding a nice looking Gengarite, best shiny of all time!
