Yeah makeup pretty much looks good on anyone imo! But just a little to compliment one's natural beauty is all it takes. Too much and you are just hiding behind a mask basically haha.

I have awful skin so I need to wear makeup to look decent. I do try to make it look as natural as possible though. I use foundation, blush, eye liner, mascara, eyebrow pencil, lip stick and sometimes eye shadow. At the very least I need to use foundation.
I feel I look significantly better after applying makeup and it helps boost my confidence. I think most women loom better with some amount of makeup on so long as it looks natural (I.e. no gaudy colours).
It sucks that society is obsessed with women having flawless skin because I've never been able to achieve that ideal and never will.

I don't like makeup because my face feels totally disgusting with it on. I'd like to cover the occasional pimple with makeup but given my extremely sensitive skin that tends to only make the acne worse. >_>; So I go out without any 99% of the time. At most I'd maybe use powder to cover up bags under my eyes.
I love make up, though I haven't been wearing it much lately. I only wear it if I wake up and I'm not looking good, I look sick, or if I'm trying to achieve a certain look with my outfit. The other day, I woke up and my face and hair were flawless and it was SO GREAT. Haha.
Anyway though, make up looks great when done right. :) I wore some today since I was going for a certain look, but generally, I wear little or none.
I hate that some women get the notion that we need make up though. It's totally not true. If men can look good without it everyday, so can we, ladies!
And for what it's worth, my favorite thing is liquid eyeliner. I have to ween myself off wearing it every single day, haha.

I love makeup. I love wearing it, and I love not wearing it. ^-^
There were times in my past where I felt like I had to wear it, but I think I'm a little bit over that now. I don't think I'm (by pretty much any means) "confident" with myself or my looks, I just know that makeup doesn't change my looks so drastically as to put me into a whole new level of beauty. I'm me whether I'm wearing makeup or not. xP
I let myself have fun with it instead of stressing over how necessary it is or is not. I wear it when I feel like I want to, I don't when I really just don't care.
I think the most important thing is that girls and guys and everyone in between wears it for themselves. I know that view is done to death, but I mean it. There have been days when I've felt more judged for wearing makeup than I've felt for going barefaced, and I think being judged for EITHER of those is so very wrong. Have fun with wearing it, have fun with going completely natural. Whatever you do, do it for you, period. That's honestly my only view on it.
