Here's my first gold map:

I will take any critism, I'm not very good at gold maps...

 

[Melash]

^Not bad, I give it a...5/10.
Reasons? Well, I think it's too empty, add a mart and few other houses. And it seems like it's squished together, I think it's a little to small to be a town. Maybe add some more houses among the trees and make it more loose!

 

[Working Class Hero]

Melesh- Well, there are a few tile errors and the building that is the school has too many windows. They both have a lot but since one is an apartment building one is fine. But a school shouldn't have that many windows. Just looks kind of strange.

All in all its a 7/10 in my opinion. ^^

 

[Dr Gregory House]

New map!

Map name: Stone Path
Original map: Route 2

Notes: You have to use HM08 to get to Destiny Cave 1 (the small cave)
Connections: Crystole City (up), Greenbush City (left)

well perhaps you could get rid of all that grass, cus there's just too much.

Here is a new map. Its the starting town in my Fire Red hack. And it didn't crash my game! ^^

Yes the house on the peninsula is supposed to be inaccessible until you get surf because you get a certain Pokemon in that house! ^^ Also, it is SUPPOSED to be bright. So don't go "ITS TO BRIGHTERZ!1!!!!1!1! D:"

Also, the Professor takes you into the lab ^^ So that makes the map better in my opinion since everything works! :D

well it is better than the last one, i will admit. but i still feel that the water is overtaking the map...:\

^Wow, I really like this map! I like the winding path and the mountains in the water! I give it a 9.5/10. Suggestions: Add some more flowers!

Thats the point of the map...Its a river. -rolls eyes-

well, if it is a river then it should run all the way through the map, this one just goes through half and stops, more of a stream sort of thing. unless it goes underground O_o

In case you haven't noticed, it connects to another map. Which continues the river. Rivers have to start and end somewhere....

yes, they normally start at somekind of waterfall and end flowing out to sea, correct? so shouldn't there be some kind of sea which that river flows into?

Yes but its kind of hard to fit an entire river and a sea on a map of that size. And not all rivers start with a waterfall. I can name one near where I live that doesn't. Infact, 2. The Ohio River and The Cuyohoga River. :P

It's supposed to be like this, as everything was formed by nature :P

Comments: Okay, this is the Route that connects New Bark Town into the Kanto. I blocked it off because in my game...Kanto is gone! Yes!

Map Name: Route 44

Comments: Okay, this leads from BlackThorn City to Egrotek (Spelling!) and I made it all flooded and destroyed looking. Actually this doesn't lead to Egrotek, it leads to another route:

Map Name: Route 42?

Comments: Okay, this leads from the above Route to Egrotek. Once again, this got flooded. I made it so you have to go through Mt. Motar to reach the city.

They're all pretty good.
Overall...6/10
There's too many rocks, try adding something different.

It's good.
Not square and well built.
The funny tower is a bit weird...
There are minor tile errors in the houses
I don't think there should be moving water when there isn't anything making it move...

This one's good.
The grass is used well as an obstacle but it allows easy movement back (as always does on Route 1)
The grass blocks are too square though.

The map's great, but that's not all of it, is it?
And I think ladders shouldn't go down, make two go down and two up? or something tile that. And, It's veeery empty, you should fill the blank space with something (rocks, water,...)
