    For those who don't know, MapleStory is a free, 2D, online, RPG game that takes place in the "Maple World".

    Have you ever played it? If so, do you still play it? Since when?

    If not, would you give it a try?

    I, for one, discovered it back in 2010. I did have an account, but never really got to play it. Now that I've re-discovered it, I play it all the time, trying to lvl up my characters and such.

    I spent so much time back in 2003-2005 playing this like crazy. I have no idea how much has changed in the last 8 years, and I can't even recall my account. But man do I wish I still had it, there was some amazing promo stuff in that account.
     
    I used to play this all the time with my friends when I was a kid. I was kinda forced to stop playing this when I came to the United States with my mom with pretty much nothing. I was surprised that this game still existed, but to my dismay it wasn't the same game anymore; this game has completely turned pay to win.

    OMG last time i played was....a day before tey released Kaizer. Became too much classes and less stories in my opinion so i stopped playing.
     
    I've been sucked into twice - it was extremely addicting both times. I was first introduced to it in the fourth grade, and I played it obsessively with my friends all the time for many months. Second time was in 2010, I think, when I was in grade 10 or 11. There was a major overhaul/update of some sort going on with the game and I can't recall what it was anymore (new jobs/features or something like that), and some of my friends started playing again and I was sucked back in for another few months.

    I haven't played it since, and I don't remember anything about it anymore (not even my characters' names, which server I was in or what classes I played), but I do remember it was a lot of fun. Lot of grinding, but still, many hours were spent on it.
     
    Oh god, MapleStory. The memories are coming back!

    Anyways, I played and loved MapleStory to death back when I was in junior high. One of the few games I spent over $200 LOL. But I did lose interest in it as time went on, I tried to come back to it a couple of months ago. But so much has changed, that I don't even know where to start.

    Started to play some months ago for a friend's suggestion and didn't got dissapointed. It's pretty interesting on playing, it's balanced and has many stories to play...

    I should've spent my time making and account and everything when I first discovered it, but I'm still gonna try it out, nonetheless. Enjoying it so far. :cool:
     
    I played this with a friend for the first time in.. 2005, I'd say? Maybe earlier. Tried it out with the boyfriend years later in 2012 or 2013 and was shocked at how much had changed; it felt like an entirely new game. ;( The movements still feel stiff so it isn't my cup of tea but I love the improvement in some of the new clothing and items.
     
    At least on these days you can rush the first (and maybe) the second job with the lastly Nexon's brilliant idea... (That basically an event that gives you 2X DROP and EXP and some other stuff...)

    It took just an hour and a few minutes for reaching lvl 27 for my new battle mage... {XD}

    I used to play this game for hours and hours, and not achieving anything in the end. It was all talking to people I met for me. My highest leveled character was about 110. My first spell into this game was 2006-2008. After that it was 2009 to 2011. From then on, I stopped playing completely.
