My entire party survived the last mission, with everyone loyal to me.

Legion as first specialist (He has experience hacking, plus he's a freaking mobile platform for 1128 different Geth AI)
Garrus as leader of the second team (He has experience leading a team as Archangel)
I sent back Mordin with the team.
I used Jack as second specialist (She's the ultimate biotic as described throughout the game)
Again, I used Garrus as a leader of the second team.

This is exactly what I did on my first playthrough, too.

I'm planning on sending Jacob through the vents this playthrough to kill him off though, he volunteers to do it so I'll let him. He's an ass and I don't like him anyway.

I was never able to get everyone's loyalty. Every time Miranda and Jack had their little fight, I was never able to choose the paragon option despite my meter being nearly full. :/

How the hell did Legion survive? Tali is the only specialist that can survive the vent thing and Samara is a better Biotic then Jack lol.

Either Tali or Legion, or Samara or Jack can be sent on their respective tasks without anyone dying.

Don't know where you got those ideas from.

No. Tali or Legion can do it. Seriously, where are you getting your info? You're completely wrong on everything you say.

If Legion can do it, why did he die in mine? ): Must've had something to do with forgetting to upgrade the Med Bay maybe.

Nope, Med Bay isn't required. Only the Weapons, Armor and Shields are required; and in those cases that you don't you'll lose someone on the way there, not once you get there. If Legion died upon you sending him thru the vent, you picked the wrong person to lead the task force that covers him. Always use Garrus for the task forces, imo - he's a proven leader.

Haha. That's the problem then. I used Zaeed because I had some strange feeling the second leader would die and he ended up dying, so...XD; I'll make sure to use Garrus next time.

But I have to say...not knowing who might live or die really makes the difference. It's way more interesting and imperative to pick your squad when you aren't sure if they're going to die or not. XD; I spent like five minutes trying to pick the biotic cause I was worried about losing my favorite characters.

I think the final mission is tailored well in that regard.

The more you know a character (ie. spending time with them, helping them solve personal issues), the more chance you have at picking the right person in the end.

I only lost 2 people in the suicide mission, Tali (because I didn't get loyalty with her) and Thane (big bummer, I had him lead second squad the second time someone was needed, but he was killed).
And yeah, I had Legion in the Vent and she/he survived just fine.

Mass Effect 2 is a captivating experience that begs to be played and replayed. Phenomenal presentation is augmented by enjoyable combat, deep characters, and epic narrative; only minor quibbles exist in these areas. Treat yourself and play this game...

I bought it, but as per usual, the Cerberus Network and my game failed to sync up and the DLC still won't show up in-game. I'm hoping it'll get started today pretty easily, so I guess we'll see after I get back from work. XD

And yes, I'm aware I paid $7 for a character and a single, new mission. But I love Mass Effect, so wateva.

You get a new casual outfit for Shepard as well as a new SMG.
Kasumi's special ability is also relatively overpowered.

I had no idea you get a new SMG. That's really helpful, since I'm some sort of biotic and all I've got is a pistol and the SMG anyways, haha.
