Kit laughed. This Raven, she is so worried about us! "We are the last of our generation. You think you could fry us? HA! Girl, you have so much to learn about us. For one thing, I would still be curled up on the ground, burnt to a crisp from you IF I was a whole human. Because I'm not, I'm still alive. Also, I would be with or without Storm helping us out with the electricity emiting from you. Raven, you have no need to worry about the three of us." Kit gestured to her group of mutants. Storm, Apolla, and herself. "We have lasted this long, we will last longer! But, be a loner. Live alone, when there are plenty of people RIGHT HERE that could be your friends, your family. All of us are weapons, or atleast, most of us..." Kit was actually considered a failure. She was supposed to be a ferocious, blood thirsty, wild animal. Instead, she HEALS with her SPIT. Kit sighed. "If you won't pick someone, I will drag you along with us. I am serious. Ask Storm, cause Apolla seems busy." Kit glanced at her, then looked back to Raven. "Up to you. Fly away, Apolla can fly too. Swimming? Storm is water. Running? That's my specialty." Kit's eyebrows raised, and she had a look like "Just try to escape. You can't? Too bad~"

It seemed that everyone was intent on having a funeral. Then, the weird puppy-girl started talking to her, clearly clueless of it all, which didn't sit well with Raven. She gave the girl a cold, harsh stare, and the air around them seemed to freeze. It felt like it was around 40 degrees or lower, likely lower. She walked up to the girl and bent down a bit to meet her eye level, clearly annoyed. "Human or not, you'll still burn just as easily. None of you seem to realize just how likely your death is with me around."

She growled a bit and turned her back to the girl, arms crossed over her chest. "I don't think you know the meaning of weapon, girl." She sighed, and felt a deep growl in her throat. The air around them all began a sudden rise, to about 70 or 80 degrees. She turned back to them. "If you chase me, I can guarantee I would end up killing you. If I stay in a group with any of you, you'll end up dying. So apparently I have to join just to keep you idiots alive a bit longer than?" She shook her head as she walked over to the group she was supposed to join, and spoke up once more. "Fine. But when you die, don't come back and haunt me. You've brought it down on yourself." She hated when people didn't give her her own way, and she didn't want to kill anyone, but they seemed bent on digging their own graves.

(Ooc: So who's Zeke & Jay? Scarers?)

Kilik Chambers

Sapphire didn't look so good. She seemed to be getting weak. She chaned form, into a wolf girl. She must be trying to stay healthy or something. He remembers that form well. The look kinda looked cute. Was Kilik blushing? & suddenly the whole temperature dropped. Was this the girl's doing? Maybe she can't control her power now, but training still couldn't hurt. Maybe she could control her emotions. Maybe that's what affects her powers.

Kilik almost forgot about Sapphire, & pressed his fingers a little tighter to keep her warm. He suddenly felt...power? He felt a little weak. Why was that? (Ooc: :3 It's his 4th power. He doesn't know it, but he transferred some power/energy of his into Sapphire.)

He didn't know what to say to the girl now. Maybe he could talk with Sapphire right now. "So, are you in a group?" He asked her, letting go since the temperature rose. He could barely stand but he didn't show it. Why does he feel a little weak?

(Okay, if someone talked to Jamie I didn't see it. Okay? Sorry, I was sick! Explination on the OOC.)

I watched as Raven had a panic attack. She kept saying someone would get hurt, they sent armies of Scarers after her stuff like that. Eventually Raven calmed the heck down, and somehow started to get somewhat forced into someones clan. I stepped away to clear my head.

I didn't have any of my group left. It was weird seeing everyone here...so many groups. I felt so alone. I usually tried to avoid thinking about it, but it was pretty unavoidable. I looked over my shoulder at the other mutants, and walked back over.

"Sorry 'bout that." I said, then lied, "Felt weird for a minute there."

Which wasn't a lie. I'd felt light headed for a second. I looked at Daphne. I wanted to be in a group with her again.

"Daphne, I know this is kind of a bad time...but..." I said just where she could here. "But can we be a group again? I've-I've been alone for a while now...and I feel so...vunerable...and..."

She felt bad for having to ask this, sense Daphne probably wouldn't want to group together again. Then Daphne would probably feel bad and make herself join anyways.

"I-It' fine if not." I added. "I-I'm sorry. I'm just acting stupid- arn't I?"

(OOC) To Kit: Ooh gurl, you in trouble!
------------------------------------------

APOLLA

Kit and Storm approached Apolla, who was still keeping her distance. She really needed to get out of here, before something else happened. Something even bigger than exploding mutants.
So it was with relief when Apolla nodded to Kit, who had suggested that they left. Before she could open her mouth however, Storm had started yelling at the girl. Apolla rolled her eyes, allowing him to get on with it. She heard her name, but it wasn't really the biggest worry at the moment.

"C'mon guys, let's just-" She muttered as Storm finished shouting. He'd gotten himself quite irate, and it was time they got some peace. However, her sentence was cut short as Kit approached the mutant crowd once more.

"Kit! Come on! Let's go!" Apolla said through gritted teeth. She was getting fed up of this now. She flew closer to try and peel her from the others, when she heard something that made her skin crawl with panic.

"If you don't pick someone, I will drag you along with us..."

Good God no. Even if Apolla was the leader, there was no way she could stop Kit when her mind was set on something. But this... this wasn't negotiable.

"Kit..." Apolla warned, her jaw set. This was not happening.

But Kit continued to tell the girl how they were going to take her whether she liked it or not. And, in Apolla's case at the very least, the stranger's reluctance was mutual. The girl seemed adamant that she wouldn't stay, that she'd kill them all. Surely that would stop Kit from insisting she joins us?

But alas, no. Apolla's heart dropped into her stomach when she heard the girl spit "Fine. But when you die, don't come back and haunt me. You've brought it on yourself."

Apolla closed her eyes, wishing it undone. "Kit. A word, please?" She whispered, her voice deadly quiet.

Sapphire Destiny

Kilik Kept hugging Sapphire which maded her blush slightly. Was Kilik blushing too? suddenly the whole temperature dropped. Was this the girl's doing?

Kilik pressed his fingers a little tighter on Sapphire, maybe to keep her warm? suddenly she feels her energy coming back, why? whats happening? and why did it seem that Kilik was getting weak?

when the temprature rose Kilik letted go of Sapphire. "So, are you in a group?" He asked her.

the girl was talking to the wolf girl, it was good to see that she wasn't the only one with a wolf appearence, even though Sapphire has two appearences.
"n-no i'm not...after we parted ways i've been living alone, travelling from town to town." Sapphire answers his question, why did it felt like it was Kilik who gave her energy? and why did he suddenly looked so weak?

EZEKIEL PRINCE

Zeke hoped that the house was as deserted as the attic suggested, as Jay spoke with an oddly loud voice. However, his lip curled into a smirk as his slender hand slotted into Jay's small, strong one, and he knew there was no going back.

"The Gen 127s." He said, his voice pointedly dropping to a whisper. "There's a load of them in the stadium, probably all the ones that are left."
Zeke paused, trying to gauge Jay's reaction. Of course, with his face covered like that, it was an impossible task. For whatever reason, that unnerved Zeke. Shaking it off, he continued.
"That exploding one will be weaker now, after that little er, display. We could swoop in, cut them up a bit and get them back to the School before they knew what's hit 'em."

Without waiting for a response, Zeke jumped up and grabbed onto the skylight effortlessly. He peered cautiously over the top, only to see an empty street below. The crowd, it appeared, had become confused by the disappearance of their pursuit, and so it had dissipated. Morons.

"Coast's clear. Let's go." Zeke muttered, leaping onto the shackles lightly. "You coming, or what?"

Kilik Chambers

"n-no i'm not...after we parted ways i've been living alone, travelling from town to town." Not in a group like Kilik it seems. Why can it be bad to team up now?

"Well how's about this? You & me be in a group together. It's been a while since I've last seen you." He offered. Sapphire would obviously say yes to his offer. Where else could she go? Besides, she wouldn't pass this offer if it was with Kilik.

Still, why does Kilik feel a little weak? He was feeling a little better, but still... Maybe he'll figure out what the whole thing is about.

Jay

"The Gen 127s." Bingo. He referred back to the stadium, where they likely still were if they didn't get out. "We could swoop in, cut them up a bit and get them back to the School before they knew what's hit 'em."

Did he really have to go so far as to cutting them up? she wondered, watching him check out the skylight for anyone remaining. It seemed cruel to kill them, even if they /were/ dangerous mutants. Not like Jay wasn't, and it was obvious Zeke had some firepower under his attitude.

"Coast's clear," and he jumped up. "You coming, or what?" Nodding, Jay leapt to the wall closest them and pushed off to hit the skylight, swinging for a moment to catch herself before getting back up to the roof and walking over to the edge facing the stadium.

"Keep up." With all the civilians lost, Jay lifted one foot and pressed off with the other, easily clearing the gap with the building right in front of her, and started running across them again, this time back towards the stadium.

We don't even have to kill them. One of those mutants thought I was in their league...

Storm Duryn

Kit you idiot, Storm thought to himself as she mouthed off to the girl. He got ready to guard everyone else if the girl got angry and blew her top again. Fortunately, when Kit finished, the girl didn't blow up, but she had a dangerous aura about her. The temperature had apparently been changed as well, but no one really seemed bothered about it. Storm relaxed, but then the girl started towards him. Don't tell me... Storm began, then sighed with a hint of despair when the girl reached him. "Kit you idiot," he mumbled as Apolla called Kit over for a 'talk'. He clicked a bit to monitor if anyone was coming. There were some fuzziness on the buildings outside of the stadium, but he just assumed they were chimneys.

Taking a risk, Storm asked the dynamite girl, "So, how you doing? What's your name?"

Kit smiled. She loved it when she won an argument. People don't normally argue with her, but when they do, they stop soon. She didn't hear Apolla until she asked to "Talk" Kit's ears lowered. She whimpered as she followed the leader. Her tail was fully down and she no longer had the normal cheery aura that follows her. Even her ever present smile was gone. Her eyes were looking to the ground. She pretty much looked like a kid who was caught doing something wrong. When they reached their destination, she looked to the ground and was prepared to be dismissed from the group. It always happens. She is no longer needed. She can't fly or attack powerfully. All she can do is flee. Why would any one want her on their team? Kit winced slightly as Apolla talked to her.

EZEKIEL PRINCE

"Keep up." Jay had said, before becoming a blur in the distance. Zeke grinned; this guy was going to be fun.
Zeke caught up with Jay with ease, both of them matched in speed. If anything Jay was faster, but Zeke could run rings around anyone when it came to stamina, if the right resources were about. It was only a matter of seconds before the two had stopped outside of the stadium.

Holding up a hand to signal Jay to stay where he was, Zeke turned transparent and walked in through the entrance. From what he'd imagined, he looked a little like the shifting convection in the air on hot days, which was more than enough invisibility for now. As he saw the stadium grounds, dotted with mutants, his black mouth opened into a maniacal smile. Zeke returned to full visibility and gestured to Jay, lurking in the doorway. When he arrived next to him, Zeke held out his arms.

"Watch this."

A bright blue ripple of light travelled from Zeke's chest to his fingertips, and seemingly disappeared. The air shifted from him a little, milliseconds before the disused stadium lights exploded in a fiery display of shattered glass. Cackling slightly, Zeke ran onto the field and stood in full view of the mutants.

"Hello, boys and girls. Are you ready for some fun?"

APOLLA

"Kit." Apolla said, yet again. "Do you know what this means?" She fought to stay calm, urging the panic to leave her voice. Kit however, hadn't seem to notice it at all. Her tail and ears drooped, and she whimpered like a dog awaiting punishment. Immediately, Apolla softened.

"Look, Kit. I really think this is a bad idea. How do we know we can trust her?"
Apolla looked over to the strange girl with apprehension, feeling sick to her stomach.
"And she can barely control her powers. How can we stay under the radar if she has a tendency to blow up like that?"

Kneeling on the plastic grass, Apolla grew level with Kit. Her green eyes bore into Kit's silver ones. Somehow, she knew Kit wasn't going to let this go. And Apolla never had the heart to say no to her.

"She's dangerous, Kit. You saw that explosion. Even if she is on our side, she could burn us to a crisp in seconds. I just really—"

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.

Apolla jumped into the air as the light above her exploded, spitting shards of glass over the field. All traces of panic were replaced with adrenaline as she recognised an attack.

"Storm! Kit! Positions!" She yelled, as a familiar Scarer ran onto the pitch.

"Hello, boys and girls. Are you ready for some fun?" He yelled. His blackened mouth, sloping gait, inky black eyes... Apolla had run into this guy plenty of times before.

Oh, you can bet on it.

Storm Duryn
(OOC: It was kind of hard to incorporate the surprise attack with Storm's echolocation.)

Storm didn't wait for a response from Raven. He had just checked their surroundings again, and the chimneys appeared to have moved. Focusing all of his attention on his echolocation, he listened as the chimneys got off of the building and walked towards the stadium. They assumed a humanoid shape now and Storm stood at attention. One of them walked into the stadium, but when he looked towards it, there was nothing there. Before he could attack it, for he knew it must be a scarer, the lights exploded and the figure became fully visible. Storm knew who it was a second too late, so instead of attacking, he directed the rainwater towards the falling glass. Some of it hit the ground, but most of it he was able to redirect towards the empty bleachers, where the shards promptly shattered even more. "Why didn't I recognize him?" Storm thought out loud. Anyone who saw him would be able to pick him out immediately, but this time, it just slipped Storm's mind.

"Nice entrance!" Storm yelled sarcastically at the scarer who just stepped in. Clicking his tongue once, he noticed a second scarer standing outside. "Save us the surprises and tell your friend to come in as well!"

Reluctant Alliance

[PokeCommunity.com] Maximum Ride: Power Sprint [PG-14] IC

As if it wasn't bad enough that she was pretty much forced into joining this group, she had to go on while hearing them talk about her. Rude much? She shook her head, to see someone approach her. My name?? I don't remember, I thought I said that!! Though before she was able to respond, they all seemed to turn their attention toward some scarers that had just shown up. Oh hell no! She growled from deep in her throat. "I TOLD YOU FREAKS TO LEAVE ME ALONE!!"

Without a second thought, she burst straight for them, fists clenched. As soon as she reached punching distance, she let a out flurry of swings. You had to admit, she was pretty fast; it wasn't a power, but she seemed to have some decent speed behind her. The air around her was heating slowly, and it looked like her fists were starting to... Light on fire?? What the hell? This was definitely a new one, but she decided to go along with it, sending punch after punch. However, it probably would have done more if she had aimed at them. She was pretty much swinging wildly.

Jay

First, Zeke turned invisible. Well, mostly. More like those distortions on a hot or bright day. When Jay joined him at the stadium, he showed off a nice little trick of blowing out the lights. Same thing that happened earlier, so the cause was apparently him on that account, too. He ran onto the field and offered up some enjoyment for everyone; such a fun guy.

"Save us the surprise and tell your friend to come in as well!" one of those mutants shouted. Unlike Zeke's grand entrance, Jay sped herself up and stopped right behind him, practically back-to-back. Nothing to say, since Zeke took care of that.

"I TOLD YOU FREAKS TO LEAVE ME ALONE!!" Raven the Moody, and Explosive. She charged in right off the bat, it's like she didn't care about figuring out what these two Scarers could do. That's so like her.

Opening her gloved hand, Jay created a simple force field. Well, sort of. It was more so just a semi-circular wall that moved around herself and Zeke, stopping each punch by a couple inches and just slightly pushing it away so it didn't stick. This kind of thing is what she specialized in, so she could last a good while, even against Raven's haphazard fists. It didn't manage to keep a few sparks and a bit of flame or so from passing through, but they dissipate quickly and at least Raven's hands couldn't reach them. Here's hoping they don't all just blast the two at once. That'd be a pain on the wall pressure. But they can't be so daring to risk killing each other, right? Well, Jay had a backup idea in case that didn't work out too well.

EZEKIEL PRINCE

"I TOLD YOU FREAKS TO LEAVE ME ALONE!"

Zeke's eyes flashed with fury when the exploding girl's words met his ears. Us, freaks? That's rich. Zeke held his arms out in front of him, his hands getting warmer as energy surged through his veins. The girl was coming towards them, literally all guns blazing as her hands caught fire. Bracing himself, Zeke was ready for the first hit.

Although, the first hit never seemed to come. The air around him seemed to be rotating, preventing the mutant's punches from landing. Zeke looked over to Jay quizzically. Was he doing that? Zeke gave a nod of approval. He really was useful, this guy.

Zeke looked around the stadium, wondering where to start. Giving a small cackle, his eyes landed on the boy who'd sensed Jay's presence. Zeke had fought him before; the green stripe in his hair gave him away immediately. Raising his hands, Zeke yelled, "Hey, waterboy! Let's see if I can make you boil!"

Hoping that Jay's forcefield wouldn't give in, each of Zeke's hands formed a glowing ball of energy. It was only the size of an apple, but the force of it was enough to light up a city. Giving the boy a mocking wink, Zeke thrust his left arm forward, releasing the ball of energy in his direction. He casually tossed the other in the direction of a blue-haired girl up in the air.

"Try those on for size!"

APOLLA

"Storm! Look out!" Apolla yelled, as the Scarer turned to her ally. Seeing the ball of energy form in the palm of the Scarer's hand, Apolla knew what was coming, but she was much too far away from Storm to help.

The ball of energy flew from the Scarer's hand just as Apolla had raised her own. She'd only meant to warn Storm, but instead a fierce blast of wind had erupted and pushed him out of harm's way. Apolla looked at her hands incredulously. Had she done that?

There was no time to consider it now, as another ball of energy was already glowing in the boy's hand. Apolla turned to the two Scarers, who were surrounded by some sort of force field. She laughed cruelly, flying closer to the two.

"A force field, Zeke?" The Scarer's name had appeared from an old memory of Apolla's, but she was certain it belonged to him.
"That's not usually your style. I suppose we're far too much of a threat for you to fight us in combat, eh?"

Sapphire Destiny

"Well how's about this? You & me be in a group together. It's been a while since I've last seen you." He offered.

'i-it has been awhile...' Sapphire looked at the ground. 'i would like it but...are you sure? i did something really terrible...' Sapphire looked up at the sky and remembered how she blew up that town one day, and that girl... that girl that shouted she hated her...

'i-i.....' she looked at Kilik with frightened eyes, she was scared he would think of her as a monster. 'i-i...blew up a town...' Sapphire said carefully. 'if you ever heard from "the angel" ...that's me...' she explained. 'scarers followed me... and i got scared, and i song a certain song and...it happened so fast, i didnt realize what i was doing...' Sapphire closed her eyes. "the song of an angel" was how she called this attack, she promised herself she would never use it again.

'a-are you still sure...you want to form a group with me...?' she asked carefully looking at him.

a group scarers had entered the stadium.

"I TOLD YOU FREAKS TO LEAVE ME ALONE!!" the girl shouted at them. she begun trowing fire fists at the scarers.

Sapphire immediately turned to them and begun manupilating the water on the ground to attack the scarers but it was no use, the scarers made a forcefield.

"A force field, Zeke?" The Scarer's name came out. "That's not usually your style. I suppose we're far too much of a threat for you to fight us in combat, eh?" a girl flied up to the scarer.

Aqua Souleater

'what's that? i'm not invited for the party?' Aqua looked at the stadium. 'that's so mean...' Aqua begun to run to the stadium, she heard some people screaming and immediately thought that a few of her allies had countered down one of the "special mutants"

secretly she was hoping it was Sapphire, it was her duty to kill her, well... not really but she really wants that, killing her and then drinking all the blood out of her... that's what she deserves after killing Aqua's beloved father.

it didn't take long before she reached the stadium. "hey...you guys begun the party without me....." Aqua said while she pouted. then she saw what was going on, all the mutants were here! "well well, what do we have here? a bunch of special freaks?" Aqua laughs.

Alongside Raven's fists of literally flaming fury, Sapphire was throwing water from the ground and battering the field with it. Much easier than Madam Moody's hands, the water just bounced off.

"A force field, Zeke?" one asked as she flew closer in. Guess they knew each other. Apolla didn't seem to like the new method she thought Zeke was taking. A bit overconfident, too. Maybe she just didn't notice the fact that someone was practically Zeke's shadow at the moment, though someone else picked her out a second ago.

Jay scanned the area; practically everyone was here. Convenient, and difficult. It'll be a pain in the neck to cage them all unless they can be isolated. Then she saw something outside the door... great. It's the bloodsucker, Aqua, come to save the day, or some crap like that. At least it was more firepower on their side, but she managed to be a more eccentric person than Zeke and Jay combined.

Solan Lunaer

"Come on, the party's already started!"

"Calm down, will ya? We can't just hurry in and start wrecking them."

"Why can't we? I want to get some sleep, so we have to get this over with. It doesn't matter if we catch or lose them as long as they don't make themselves public."

"I know, but just rushing in is going to get us killed."

"UGH. Fine. What do /you/ propose we do?"

"We find a place to watch safely, then join in if need be."

The two made their way into the stadium quietly behind Aqua's disappointed entrance, one underground and one sticking to the air as high as he could get, being Sol and Lune, respectively. Since their thoughts were synchronized, they didn't have to talk to each other out loud unless it was on purpose. It was useful for tracking people, too; Lune could feel people flying through the air, and Sol had a sonar-like ability whenever someone touched the ground, and they'd tell each other locations and movement. That's usually how they found the Gen 127s if they weren't being so flashy with their wings or powers. They didn't understand what wasn't to love about having giant, badass wings and superpowers, but a lot of them apparently hated it. It's like they think they were cursed with awesomeness when the majority of humanity wants to fly like birds.

"Better not fall asleep down there."

"I'm not stupid, Stupid. You really think I'll take a nap in the middle of a mutant battlefield?"

(Ooc: -.- TornZero's post really has me confused now...)

Kilik Chambers

'i-it has been awhile...' Sapphire answers. She seemed reluctant to answer Kilik's question if she wanted to team up again. 'i would like it but...are you sure? i did something really terrible...'

"Something terrible? What could that be?" Kilik wasn't really surprised much. There were always flaws.

'i-i.....' Still reluctant. 'i-i...blew up a town...' That...explains the rubble the other day. Kilik wasn't fond with the fact that she accidentially destoryed a town, but she's his friend & he'll side with her no matter what. 'if you ever heard from "the angel" ...that's me...' Although, Kilik never really stopped to hear anything much.

"Um, never heard of it." He answered.

'scarers followed me...and i got scared, and i song a certain song and...it happened so fast, i didnt realize what i was doing...' Huh. Stupid Scarers. 'a-are you still sure...you want to form a group with me...?'

"Sapphire, I-" Kilik's sentence was shot too soon by shattering lights. Who appeared were two Scarers. "What, came to clean up the rubble?" He joked at them. Raven launched a barrage of flaming punches at them, aimlessly unfortunately. Another Scarer came, a girl. Sapphire launched a water attac at the Scarers, but there seemed to be a forcefield around them. This won't be easy.

Kilik changed his form of a fox, spinning his two tails for speed, & charged at them with a powerful punch. Wind power was added around his punch, forcefully powerful. It didn't do anything though. Kilik forgot he was low on energy. At the moment he was useless. What was he suppose to do now?

Kit nodded. She understood the dangers, but she really didn't care about her safety. "We can just kick her ou-" Kit's ears perked up with the sounds of an ambush. "Storm, Kit! Positions!" She heard the command, and like a warrior, she followed them. Instantly, her fighting instinct kicked in as she heard the fight around her. She saw the new girl's fists of fire, and was slightly scared. For the first time, her fear of fire actually made her weaker. It's a natural fear. Animals avoid fire because it hurts. Kit shook her head and looked up to Apolla taunting the guy in the force field. She sensed another Scarer though... Maybe it's the... No. No one else in in the bubble of energy! It can't be... Hmm...

Then another girl appeared. "Well well, what do we have here? A bunch of special freaks?" Kit heard the girl talk. Kit instantly disliked this girl. Her voice... it ticked Kit off. Kit shook her haunches slightly, and ran to the new Scarer. She jumped over the girl, dragging a claw across the newbie, and landed behind her. "You're one to talk!" Kit growled.
