Maybe its just me but... XD

*I* am in no way a veteran. Nor is Arcanine, Dakota, 22sa or anyone else. We're all the same, the events of our past can be beneficial, but they shouldn't make us part of some "status" people believe they must achieve. "If I can just get 1000 posts..." "If I have been a member for a few more months..." "If I became a mod..." these are things we think will put us in this exalted place. But you know what? IT doesn't change you. If anything maybe you gain more confidence, but that's not an officially anointed thing. All of the above are placebos for some sort of feeling of being left out people may feel. I know the feeling too, often I feel so old and left out of DCC and such these days.

But I don't believe more posts are a different colored name will do anything to that. It's about me enjoying myself and bonding with the people though interaction. Sure there are rules to follow, and moderators to handle things. We often get so caught up in the small necessities like those that they become the purpose of the forum, instead of the original. "Veterans", as I said, feel left out some time too. Surely the way they're glorified "we" wouldn't have any problems like that. Right? Right...?
 
I personally think it's if you're a willing and contributing member. Post count really doesn't make a big difference when you think about it...

I defiantly don't consider myself a senior member - I haven't been here nearly long enough. I was still a n00b at the old PC when I stopped coming... and now I'm right back in that position. o.o

To be honest, I respect more people who were here longer and are known more better. I don't really give much respect to people who are newbies. =/ But I'm not mean to them, I just am not too cool with em =P But I don't think only seniors should be respected, maybe also nice people are respected too. Since they're not troublemakers or anything ^^;

Anyways, yeah, I think you're a senior =D You're active, you're nice, and you're pretty popular. =3 Actually, PC's lucky to have you cus we rarely get any nice active members. ^_^

That's good. Cus there are so many senior members in other sites who are snobs and think they're superior =P And there are so many newbies who just join, next thing you know, you never hear of them again =/ That's really dissapointing. --;;

And with your active personality, PC's glad to have ya =D Besides, I respect ya, you're very active and very respectful to others too =3

Btw, yeah it's so disappointing.
I haven't seen that many people around that are my friends. Probaly some.
Others just left...just like that. o_O I hope they come back and see what they're missing.
 
I'm a vetran =p, Been a member since January 2003, as Pichu Fan or something like that (mighta been minun fan) anyway, I havent left for very long time so Im a vertran. I'd say your a senier after five months and being active n.n
 
Am I a "senior"? I've been at PC for over a year, and I almost have 500 posts. Well, people might not know me, because I only associate with old members who I am familiar with. PC's not how it used to be.

Vetran? 0.o I am a senior member with more posts than nick? does vetran mean how long youve been here?
 
This thread reeks of pure egotism. I've been here since February 2003, made about 250 posts in total and have never considered myself anything more than a forum member. Because that's basically what you all are: members of an internet message board. You're not rising through the ranks of a global army.
 
Hmmm good point. Still if youve been here since the invision board (i havent) your bound to be more known and trusted then a new member with three posts.
