May's (insert Pokemon here)! (Japanese spoilers within)

even though may's a coordinator, she pays close attention to her moveset in order to help with appeals, and her team is made out of well balanced pokemon, so beating Ash's current team would be a snap.
 
Not really... A lot of his Pokemon evolved but still lost...

Anyway, Ash is a wee bit lucky that he wins, since he IS the Protagonist of the series...

Though if he and May fought at a real Pokemon battle (like the ones in the games), I think May could win...
 
Well, he did lose one time... Not only once, but many times... It's not fair for him to always win, so my point is May will beat Ash like eating a piece of cake!
 
50 bucks that when ash is over with sinnoh may will replace him. 50 bucks.
 
Maybe May can teach Ash a thing or two about raising Pokemon... ;)

Then, Ash will be as great as May again in training Pokemon...

Yep after sinnoh to fill in the gap for the 5th gen yo would have a whole season dedicated to may in johto.
 
Sorry about the spoilers folks, I was too excited.

Anyway, Chimchar is definitely gonna evolve all the way, just to stick it to Paul. Turtwig isn't going anywhere. We've already seen good evidence that Gligar will evolve too. Buizel would WANT to evolve, but that's up in the air. And Staravia needs to evolve if only to get rid of that dumb voice it has.

Ash's projected team:
Pikachu
Turtwig
Infernape
Starraptor(?)
Gliscor
Buizel/Floatzel(who knows?)

Which still gets pwned by May's team of 3 evolved starters, an awesome eeveelution, Munchlax's crazy butt and that POS Beautifly.

To be honest, I don't see how being a Pokémon Trainer and a Pokémon Coordinator is any different. Coordinators unleash deadly attacks with grace and style. Trainers just unleash deadly attacks. They have their own different competitions and such, yeah, but it seems to me that Coordinators have it tougher than Trainers, since all Trainers have to do is battle. Coordinators battle and make it look awesome.

Maybe we should be following May instead of Ash...then again, she has no interest in hot, sweaty Gym Leaders, right?

I think May's Pokemon evolving all the way just means that Ash's Pokemon all will at the end of DP. Paul has a lot of evolved Pokemon so I reckon the only way he's going to be able to defeat either by the end he's going to have to evolve them (I reckon he's going to have a rematch with May sometime).

They're different. You don't have to knock out the opponent in contests, it's just about looking nice, battles are about making Pokemon strong. But if you combine both, I suppose it's best
 
Wow, also what surprises me is that May evolved all of them in such a short time....It takes Ash a whole season to evolve 1 pokemon.

May is better than Ash, and you, me, and everyone here knows it.
 
well i got to say if he evolves turtwig,staravia,gligar,chimchar and buizel he will have a strong team and that thing may beating ash yeah like that will ever happen

Lol I remember, on April 20th, I told my friends that May's Eevee would evolve into a Glaceon (I beat it onthe first day) but they didn't belive me.

Bulbasaur evolved so quickly, I'd think.

Besides, with awesome skills, beautiful looks, extremley powerful pokemon, beautiful looks, and No same type pokes like dawn has *note, Aipom/Bipom and Buneary, as well as the Buizel/Piplup*

May's team is looking great now, still Ash has great Pokemon that he can call upon. I really think Ash should evolve his Pokemon more. Ash better step it up, because May started has these great Pokemon and she started her journey like after the middle of the anime so far.

LOL! Even if it's funny to see, it's really the right thing to do... I think May SHOULD teach Ash how to kick butt or Ash should just go Coordinator.
 
Yeah, its hard to understand why they made Ash Pokemon not evolve, Because even though they hold their own at their current stage, at their last stage they can kick serious butt, but Ash is an idiot, and probably always will be.
 
Also, I hate it when Ash leaves his load of Pokemon to Prof. Oak and he just let's his Pokemon rot there.

I pity Ash's abandoned Pokemon. It's more like releasing them and not taking care of them...

I think May has more knowledge than Ash even though she started in the middle of the series...
 
Oh, I think Ash has the "knowledge", he just doesn't use it...which creates his team(s) of unevolved Pokemon.

On another note, do you honestly think that the creators of Pokemon would allow Ash to lose to May? >_> I'd love to see it happen though...
