6th Gen Mega Evolution in Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire

I'd only see them doing that if it was established that Mega Salamence's wings were an allusion to the crescent moon. I'm pretty sure that they just happen to be crescent-shaped to showcase their bladed, scythe-like nature.

I just thought it'll be a nice fit, as Hoenn has the moon and the sun theme already with Solrock and Lunatone. Plus the sun is related to heat, and the moon to waves.

It's called the Mega Bangle, as it's a different item than the Mega Ring the Kalos players wore.

No...the Official Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire literally says "Mega Bracelet". Where did you hear that it's a mega bangle?

Bangle was the translation Serebii had. Either way it's still not the 'Mega Ring'.

Either way they gave us a Pokemon though wi-fi with their Mega stone attacked in XY and now another one for ORAS will be given. So it may not even matter.

Also Mawile and Sableye are available in Dewford...the second badge. Besides one would need to evolve Zigzagoon and Taillow and they evolve at 20 and 22 respectively which should be around the time we reach the third gym (if one grinds at least in the originals) or the fourth gym.

I'm leaning kind of against on seeing another mega-evolution for this Pokémon, personally. It's indeed rare, but not exactly as popular as some are such as Charizard and Mewtwo, which, I believe, is one reason why they wound up creating two forms for them.

Interestingly Charizard and Mewtwo are second (well the second line in the Kanto Pokedex) to first and second to last. They are also the first ones to show up in the beginning of the anime (Charizard in Japan, and Charizard in at least the U.S. version of the opening). Also they are the first mascot, and the strongest legend in the first generation respectively( Mewtwo was tied for strongest in terms of bst with the most of the following mascots (and stronger than the mascots of these remakes' modern forms by 10) until Arceus came along three generations later). So they have a lot of history and importance for the series in addition to being popular.

Looking at it that way not many Pokemon, if any can compare to that.
 
Yeah, any Pokémon that would get dual Megas would be Charizard and Mewtwo. The only other I could ever guess is Mew or Arceus. I don't believe any other will get one in ORAS.
 
I dont think it would be a good idea to give Arceus a Mega Evolution at all, since he couldnt change his type anymore then.
well or maybe they would give him 18 Megas then for each type or an ability similar to protean where it can change his type.

Yeah, I don't see Arceus getting one either. Mew, though, seems like it would definitely get one.
 
I think Omega and Alpha Megas for Arceus will be fitting.

Same for Mew. Mew has a lot of history behind it like Charizard and Mewtwo plus it's just as popular. Heck, Mew's existence is what led to all those glitches in Gen I as it was added after the debugging process.

I have a feeling we'll see a new Mega of a random mon and Primal Rayquaza to be revealed within the next 10 days.
 
I'm up for seeing a primal-evolution for Rayquaza. Since Groudon and Kyogre are getting it, so should this one, as they make up a trio and are meant to be treated more or less equal. As for Mew getting two megas, I could agree with that. If they're said to give more than mega-evolution to those that are popular and whatnot, Mew should be near somewhere at the top, I believe, due to those reasons stated above.

I can see Floatzel getting a Mega. Perhaps an unexpected ability like Levitate.

How about Mega Seaking? It could get lightning rod, thus having only one weakness (and it has ice coverage to take that weakness down). It could get a boost in speed and attack, or perhaps become a mix or even a special attacker.
 
Tbh anything is possible now to get a mega after Mega Audino,Mega Lopunny and Mega Slowbro so yeah Floatzel getting a mega and Seaking seems like a possibility.

That'll be cool. Maybe it should be next gen and have a new ability that boosts moves like Ice Ball, and Roll Out...and there'll be a new normal type version of those...Donphan could get it too.


Mega Azumarill will be a beast. Hopefully it'll be like Mega Tyranitar and Audino, getting the ability it normally has (hopefully Huge Power in this case).
 
Mega Zangoose with Tough Claws
Mega Seviper with Strong Jaw

They both get a boost in their Speed and Attack, with equal boost to Defenses, although small.

Seviper gets a higher Attack boost, while Zangoose gets the higher Speed boost.

Zangoose gains the Poison or Dark typing and Seviper gains the Dark typing to power Crunch.
 
I'm up for a MIlktank mega-evolution. It isn't used as much as it probably should be, if you ask me, so hopefully, this could change that.
