What are the most memorable or greatest places you have been?

For me my favorite was going to Disney World last year with my family. My family was highly critical, but I enjoyed every second. It was such a happy feeling place. The best part for me was thinking the Rock N Roller coaster was a kiddie ride, then the surprise when I realized it wasn't at all. (And I loved everything about Epcot).

Then we took a short detour into Universal Studios, and those were some of the coolest rides I had ever seen.

It was my first (and possibly only) time in Florida, we just never had reason to go there. Since we don't have family there or anything.

When I was about 11, my family went to Ibiza. It was at the end of August and the start of September. Our hotel was right enxt to the beach. One day, when we are chilling at the beach, we saw locals building a stage. We thought they will have some kind of party to celebrate the end of summer, but we didn't really care about it. That night, me and my dad went out to get some snacks to eat, because there was another Czech couple in the hotel and my parents befriended them and decided to hang out with them. The guy from the couple was a Pokémon fan, so that was a big plus. Anyway, we were on our way back to hotel, when we noticed a crowd on the beach. We went to check it up and were met with few friendly people inviting us to something. At the time neither me or my dad could speak Spanish that well, so we had no idea what will happen, but we stayed there. There were flames all over the beach, some crates were lying on the sand and some people were armed with fake swords and shields. Rest was holding tomatoes. We were both given some too and were told to wait. After about a minute a ships appeared at the horizon. Tons of viking ship were quickly approaching the beach. When they were just in range, everyone started throwing tomatoes at vikings and vikings fought back. Just in a few seconds, we found ourselves on the tomato battlefield. I'm pretty sure we are the only two Hussites who ever fought Vikings. But since the rest of our family was waiting for us, we only fought for few minutes, before getting out of the beach and back to the hotel. We were hit several times so our clothes looked really... interesting. My mom wasn't happy about it, but it was really great event.

Also, I found out about Gen III and IV and saw first Pokémon from Gen III (Kirlia and Jirachi) and Gen IV (Shieldon) on this vacation.

Canada's Wonderland: I hate theme parks but roller coasters give me a type of high only roller coasters can give...I'm sorry
Quebec City: Absolutely beautiful, I love the old sections and how clean it is.
Montreal: Rode the subway for the first time here, it was pretty cool! Also plenty to do.
Toronto: The Eaton Centre fucking killed me. It's inside but the vertigo you get is unmatched.

One of the most memorable places I've been to was Venice in October last year. I'm fortunate to have traveled to different parts of the world, but Venice felt different to any of them. The atmosphere at night was something special, and actually made me feel quite emotional, the lights, canals, music and gondolas were unreal, it really is a special place and I'd recommend it to anyone! (Also the food is A**)

I'm legit surprised about some of the cool places I've been. Too bad I'm now working poor and have travel anxiety... even if things weren't how they are now, I probably still wouldn't be going on vacation anytime in the next few years.

    - When my family moved from Japan to Kansas (mom was military), we took a several day layover in Honolulu, Hawaii. Hooray for loopholes giving us a mini-vacation!! It was really pretty, but I do not suggest skimping on sunscreen if you go snorkeling...
    - Parents paid for a tour for like 2 days in Paris when we were living in Germany. It barely covered all of what Paris has to offer, but it hit the Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, and a small bit of the Louvre.
    - Boyfriend and I took like a week vacation in Colorado before he went back to college. Part was in Manitou Springs, and part was at his aunt and uncle's place somewhere near Boulder. Got to see Pike's Peak, Cave of the Winds, visited Rocky Mountain National Park, and most importantly, had some excellent middle eastern food one night. But really, I liked this vacation the most because I got to spend it with my boyfriend instead of family :)
