Memories of your Alolan vacation...

What are some of your best or worst memories of your "trip" to Alola in Pokémon Sun and Moon (can be in-game or real-life)?

I currently have one (as I have JUST done my first Battle Royal, the foursome with Kukui, even though I have owned Pokémon Sun since release).
So, I decided to target a certain someone and their Pokémon in the Battle Royal with Kukui (I mean Masked Royal), Gladion, myself and Hau, if any of you are wondering, the person I targeted was Hau. Anyway, I went for girly boy's Rowlet and nearly had it down, but lo and behold who should target ME and my Brionne? That meddling Gladion and his Goddamn Type: Null!

One my favourite memories was all the trouble I had trying to catch a Horsea on Melemele Island early on in the game. For some reason I just couldn't find Kala'e Bay and was having a hard time, but I eventually found it and was rewarded with a beautiful bay and a Horsea that became a big part of my team :)

Best memory: allowing my Incineroar to gain Attack, Defense, and Speed momentum against almost all of the League.

Worst: some firefighter at the Battle Tree used a Mega Swampert's Rock Slide that kept my whole team flinching. Every. Single. Turn. And I lost.

I think it was my Bewear taking out the Totem Mimikyu. I did have a strategy in mind prior to taking on that trial, but that's when the Fluffy ability on her proved to be a lifesaver at stalling out Mimikyu's PP.

Also, I remember when I had an anticlimactic end to the first trial when I had a Makuhita OHKO the Totem Raticate. Poor thing didn't even get its chance to call the ally Rattata.

I think one of my favourite parts was infiltrating the Aether Foundation at their hideout. I was always sceptical of those guys to begin with, but I think when it actually came to seeing the change in dynamic was when things really started to get intense!

worst memory for sure is when i was fishing for a freaking Feebas so early on and had no idea it had a 1-5% encounter rate

I was fishing for three hours ;-;;;

 

[Rosehip]

The first appearance of Nihilego, or UB-01 Symbiont. It looked truly beautiful, but also frighteningly powerful. I loved it when I first saw it.
Heck, a lot of Aether made it to my best moments list; like returning there, the initial visit to the Aether Paradise and meeting with Lusamine for the first time.
