One of the features in Black2/White2 is Memory Link. If you link your B/W games through Unova Link, you will get a set of memories you can watch or listen to throughout the Unova region, such as why the Striaton Trio is no longer Gym Leaders, being able to battle Cheren with his B/W team according to the data linked through Unova Link, A former Team Plasma grunt, and much more. This is the only way you can battle Bianca in B2/W2.

Once you're linked through Memory Link, people will reference your player character from your B/W game.

Did you bother with Memory Link? What was your favorite memory?

I bothered with it, yes, I linked my White version to get Memory Link going. My favorite memory is definitely the one explaining the Straiton brothers past and the Shadow Triad. I remember people thinking back then that the Triplets WERE the Shadow Triad, so it was cool they went and debunked that with a Memory Link.

I don't remember this specifically, but by the time I had played gen 5 they disconnected many of these features.

I wasn't aware you could do so much with it, such as battling Bianca. I think it would be much cooler if you could link your old team and battle the first protagonist that way.

Unova link is still active, actually.

Ah okay. I was very late with Gen 5. Actually my first time playing it was last year with leftover money while shopping for Christmas. When it came to getting to try many of these features, I was too late. It is nice to hear this is still active, since I do like how it sounds.
