I wanted to post this in advance, because I might not have time as Christmas is getting close!
At the moment, the current Christmas rush is beating me in the toosh right now. Family came earlier than expected, older sister needs to do her Christmas shopping, volunteering & sponsoring for an elderly woman this weekend, cooking tamales, holiday hams, desserts, etc., and last but not least...be there for the holidays in Mexico. It's one reason why I've been going to bed earlier than usual, because I'm just so tired. xD I'm not complaining at all, I actually feel good for doing this, and I know for sure that everyone will celebrate Christmas with a smile on their face.
As for the volunteering, which I haven't really emphasized as much to anyone... Since last week, a friend of mine has a neighbor who's a lone 69 year old woman and was in dire need of company this year. She wanted some extra help on her holiday shopping and on cooking as well, so we both decided to step up and donate a few hours of our time a week. I did some yesterday by wrapping her gifts, and on Monday we're going to help her out with the tamales and the rest of her cooking. It felt really good on helping someone out this holiday season. The gift of "giving" is the best gift of all.
And so, I wanted to take the time to wish everyone a wonderful Christmas! I hope all your wishes come true this holiday season, and be safe this year, okay! See you guys on the 26th or 27th!
