Only for Windows, not for Mac
    • What version do you have?
    I have 2003 Professional
    • What do you use in Office?
    Mainly just Powerpoint and Infopath
    • Is it better than rivals such as openoffice and Corel Wordperfect?
Only for Powerpoint and Infopath documents. I prefer Apple Keynote over Powerpoint and NeoOffice (Openoffice.org for Mac) Is perfect for everything else since it can read/write every format from Office 93 to Office 07 in addition to the other formats like OpenDocument, PDF, Wordperfect, and StarOffice.

What do you use in Office?
Mainly Word and Powerpoint. I used to use Outlook for my e-mails but now I use Windows Live Mail which is better for me.

    What version do you have?
I used to have a free trial of Office 2007 on this laptop, but it ran out. I have Office 2003 on the other two computers in my house, though.

Is it better than rivals such as openoffice and Corel Wordperfect?
I prefer it over the two, yes. I currently use OpenOffice on my laptop after my trial for Office 2007 ran out, and I really miss Microsoft Office.

Do you even have it? - No, I do have Open Office.

What do you use in Office? - At school I use whatever I have to. We're currently using Access (Which I'm not a huge fan of).

What version do you have? - At school we use 2007.
Is it better than rivals such as openoffice and Corel Wordperfect? - Hahahahaha... <flat> No.

    Do you even have it?

Is it better than rivals such as openoffice and Corel Wordperfect?
Wouldn't know, all I know is that it does what it's supposed to do perfectly.

    Do you have it?
    Yes.

What do you use in Office
Primarily Word, because that's mainly all I need. However, on occasion I'll use Powerpoint, when I need to, which is rare. I've played around with Excel and OneNote a few times, but I don't use them because I don't really need them.

    What version do you have?
    Office 2007.

Is it better than rivals such as openoffice and Corel Wordperfect?
I think so, if you disregard cost. However, the only reason I have it is because my parents paid for it. Otherwise, I would only use Openoffice, which is perfectly adequate.

    What version do you have?

Is it better than rivals such as openoffice and Corel Wordperfect?
Yes, I've yet to find something with an equation editor so easy to use (that's built into the word processor). The ribbon is great, too.

    Do you even have it?
Yes, I downloaded the serial number for it, Amachi: Don't post serial numbers or anything else of the sort.

What do you use in Office?
Access, Word, Excel, Oulook, Powerpoint, Expression Web, and Publisher

    What version do you have?
2007 Blue Edition (whatever that means!)

Is it better than rivals such as openoffice and Corel Wordperfect?
    I haven't even tried them! Wouldn't know.

    What version do you have?
MS Office 2003. I can't be bothered updating it.

Though I haven't used either of them, I've heard that OpenOffice files are difficult to open unless you have OpenOffice installed. But I can't really judge them unless I've tried them out first.

Is it better than rivals such as openoffice and Corel Wordperfect?

Well, I've never really used other brands, so I'll have to say yeah, it's better.

Is it better than rivals such as openoffice and Corel Wordperfect?

Heck no. Proprietary software < FOSS. I prefer OpenOffice mainly because I can compile it myself and optimize it so it runs much better on my hardware (This can only be done on software that can be obtained as source code)...

    Do you even have it?
    No.

What do you use in Office?
During the times I have had and used it: Word and Excel.

    What version do you have?
    N/A.

Is it better than rivals such as openoffice and Corel Wordperfect?
Probably is. I've recently found that OpenOffice's only English dialect appears to be US English. :/
Really though, to my experience, Windows comes with something called Microsoft Works anyway, so Microsoft Office software can become very much unecessary if Works is on your computer. ;D

Definitely. OpenOffice is one of the few reasons I don't use Linux. Office 2007 is just so much better, more user-friendly, and easier to use. And it has a lot more features.

What is wrong with US English, as long as you can use the application who cares? Also there is a UK English localization for OpenOffice.
