Mini-Modding: Do you do it?

Whoa, I had no idea it was against the rules o_O I pretty much just say "Wrong forum, have it moved here, kthxbai :l" and if it's a question, I typically answer it. I hardly ever PM mods just out of habit of playing RS and such where the mods are getting flooded with PM's.

How can you try and enforce the rules when you don't know all of them? :/

I mini mod all the time in my section. I never did before I was a mod but, I do now.

If I'm mini-modding, it's in the report form, not in the post. I try to leave my snarky comments in the reports, for the staff to snigger over. (no matter if it's funny or not)

That being said, I do like to report various common offenses which annoy the living hell out of me, especially anyone trolling or flaming. Heck, I've reported everything from signatures to staff posts that I felt were a little too far. (I try to cut staff members slack, they have the right to make a snarky comment or two, as long as it's not something extremely hostile or insensitive.)

If I ever got off my lazy behind and got more active, they'd probably thrust a n00b beating stick into my hand within a year.

I do it a lot in the Trade Corner, especially on threads that should have been in the Quick Trade sticky or threads asking for hackers/cloners. ._.; But most of the mistakes are made by newbies and I always think it's less intimidating for them to be corrected by a civilian than a Mod. >_>

I don't mini-mod. I actually don't think I have ever done that in my time here at PC. However, I was a mess in another forum back when I was twelve. I would actually post in a topic saying that I was calling a mod to close it >/////<. It's very surprising to me that I've become the complete opposite of what I was three years ago. I love the report button. No really. I love it. Him. Yeah. XDDDD

I've never done it. It's so much easier to use the report button, not to mention it's what you're supposed to do. I find it a bit ridiculous when I see a thread that has three people mini-moding yet none of them reported so nothing gets done.
