6th Gen Mirage spots

    Any of you encountered mirage spots already? I don't get it, they're supposed to switch once a day right, for over two days I got the same mirage spot =/

    What do you think about the mirage spots?

    I'm pretty sure more mirage spots appear by streepassing people, at least that's how they've appeared for me.

    Really? That sucks so, I won't be able to get any Mirage Spots at all... I literally live in the middle of nowhere, and if I go to a big city, usually I only meet one person... Then there's the odds of them having OR/AS... :/

    From what I've read, you get your new one everyday. But if you go online you get additional islands/caves/mountains. I'm not sure if it has to be streetpass or just going online, but I haven't gone past anyone because I also live in the middle of nowhere and I have around 5 - 6 islands :)
     
    Being online is suppose to help as well as sharing secret bases.
     
    Depends on the Mirage Spot, actually. This Serebii article (<---Hyperlink) goes over it in great detail. The Swords of Justice appear on different days of the week if you have 3 or more EV trained Pokemon in your party, for example.

    I have mixed feelings about the Mirage spots. On one hand, I like that the were added to allow access to more Legendary Pokemon. While on the other hand, I don't like how some of them have requirements that fall under the fetch quest/chain of deals tropes. I feel for those ones, I might use PokeBank to transfer the Pokemon from X to Alpha Sapphire to get their Pokedex data.
     
    i find them to be a bit of a nuisance, well, when it comes to the spots with legendary Pokemon anyway.

    i wish that they could have been a little more creative with how you are meant to unlock the Mirages. maybe add little post game events or episodes, something that at least explains how they tend to work. It would make unlocking the spots more of a interesting to-do than a tedious one.

    In other words, Hoopa, the Illuminati, and Missingno all teamed up to make the Mirage Spots in a top secret room on a top secret island at an extremely confidential hour, rumors' eyes only.
     
    Yeah, I've found out that you get extra mirage spots from going online on the PSS, same with secret bases and stuff. So far I think it's really cool and I'm hoping I can encounter an Audino one for exp farming.
     
    Yep! I've only found one with a few Unova Pokemon in them though. Only caught one (the only mildly useful one). I was expecting a legendary but nope; no luck. I have caught Azelf and Mesprit though which is pretty cool. Now to track down Uxie...

    Do they appear all at once? Or are you able to access one a day?
    I don't know how to use streetpass and such, maybe that is why I only have one right now, and not a very useful one =/

    I have 4 or 5 at the moment, I can access them all :)

    If you go into a local city once/twice a month that has a nintendo zone then take your 3/2DS along to that and get some Streetpass hits. But add people to your friends list and then your mirage spots should update each time. But like I said before, I'm not entirely sure how it works :P I'm sure it works off your friends list :)
     
    I've been seeing a lot of them because my brother is really all about those legendaries, but I haven't bothered to catch many Pokemon in them yet. I've probably only caught Lugia because I found it on accident while exploring Sea Mauville.
     
    I like the odd conditions required. Reminds my of RSE, I mean how many people read digital Braille?

    I usually don't care for legends, but I think this is neat.
