Misadventures at Hogwarts: Term 2

I looked at Johann.
"Maybe...I cant make you friends. Why dont you go over and see instead of sitting around by the lake. And I expect you should put your robes on", I said seriously.
 
"I will don't worry!" I said smiling and then made my way to the Ravenclaw table. Since Will was in Ravenclaw he came with me. I sat down beside the first years and listened to them talk. They were talking about some guy, who was a second year student. I couldn't tell who they were talking about, until one of the girls said, "My sister thinks he's dreamy!" Then that narrowed down the search. Then a boy pointed to me and said, "Isn't that him?" All the first year girls screamed. I rolled my eyes as the little girls gathered around me. Again there was a girl on the corner, the same spot Rebecca sat. I broke out of the crowd when they took notice that Will was better looking then I was.

I sat beside her and asked, "What's your name?"

"Devon Shoemake." She said quietly.

"I'd like you to meet some of my friends, how about that?" I said smiling. I took a good look at her, she seemed to be about my age, but very quiet. Her looks resembled that of Karli and Rebecca. I wondered if she was related to one of them but I didn't ask. She shook her head and led her to Karli and Terra. "Hey girls! I'd like you to meet someone." When I got their attention I said, "This is Devon Shoemake. Devon, this is Karli, and this is Terra."

Will came over with a boy beside him. "Hey guys, this is Carl Shoemake." He said not noticing the girl that was about as tall as him standing beside me. "Carl, this is Johann, Karli, and Terra. Who is this beautiful young lady?" He asked noticing Devon.

"This is Devon Shoemake, Devon meet my best friend Will." I said smiling. "Are you and Carl brother and sister?" I added.

"Yes." She simply said quietly.

"She's alittle quiet isn't she?" Will whispered in my ear.

"Give her time, she'll crack if she hangs around us." I whispered back, we both laughed at this.

OCC: Terra and Terra??

"Hello Devon" I said to the girl holding out my hand. "Its nice to meet you"
 
OOC: OOPS! I'll change it to Karli and Terra.

IC: Devon hesitated but she shook her hand. "It's nice to meet you too, ma'am. How are you?" She said very politly.

I laughed and patted Devon on the back, "You don't have to be that polite. Your talking to Karli, you don't need to be uptight around her." She looked at me confused and I said, "Nevermind, You'll see what I mean soon enough!" The tables were cleared and dance music began to fill the room. "Karli do you want to dance? Since I haven't got to dance with you?" I said holding my hand out to lead her to the middle of the floor.
 
"Sure..." I said getting alittle shy. "Im not much of a dancer"
 
"That's okay, I'll teach you the basics." I said gently leading her to the middle of the floor holding her hand. I put her left arm around my neck and her right hand in my hand. i then put my left hand on her hips. I was alittle surprised because I never put my hand on her hips, and i wasn't sure she would let me, but I guess I was wrong. I then started to dance with her.
 
I looked down most of the time, while I was dancing. I finally looked up.
"So, what do you think of that Devon girl?" I asked curiously.
 
OOC: Oh yeah! SAMs. Now I remember...
 
I laughed silently and said softly, "no need to get jealous Karli. I was just trying to make a new friend. But what do I think about her? She's cute, but she's alittle quiet. But nothing could ever replace you." I kissed her on the lips and then I smiled gently. I then drew her in close to the point our chest met and I rested my head on her right shoulder.
 
"Im not jealous" I said pulling away sharply. "Im sorry, but I just cant do this" I said walking away. I was probaly just tired.
 
For the first time ever I closed my eyes and listened to my conchens (Someone plesae tell me how to spell that word!). Half of me wanted to chase after her, the other half wanted to just sit down and cry. I stood there awhile, and tears came to my eyes. I just sat down on a chair and cryed quietly. I didn't dare chase after her, cause I had a feeling she was going to say something else I didn't want to hear. Will came over and said, "Man, don't cry. Your tougher than that. Remember your training. Suck it up and move on. That was the lessen of our training remember? No matter how much something hurts you, you got to stand back up and fight. i think it's time you find someone else besides Karli. Because it's becoming more clearer that you'll never get her to love you."

I sighed through my tears and said, "Your probably right. It's just I'm scared, I don't want to forget her, I love her!"

Will slapped me and his voice became harsh for the first time as he said, "Get over it! She doesn't love you! Find somebody else! She's not worth the pain and suffering, that she puts you through!"

he hit me harder than any monster could ever hit me. It knocked me off the chair and half way across the floor. I got up and slowly began to pull myself together. "Your right, It's time for me to find someone else, because obviously she doesn't love me." Will walked over to me and patted me gently on the back shaking his head yes, and leading me back to the chair to just chill out.
 
I got up to my dorm, and took Feather out of her cage. She perched at the end of my bed. I started to stroke her feathers, and I sighed. I finally went to bed.
 
Zeth from, the top of Hogwarts, saw 2 figures walking out onto the lake. but he didn't care. As long as no one noticed that he was there, on the roof, with a a broken leg, he would just try to find a way to solve things. He couldn't feel his leg anymore, not when he didn't move, but if he moved even the slightest inch, his leg sent a throbbing, agonizing pain that shot uo all the way through his spine. Laying perfectly still, he looked up at the sky, and the galaxies upon galaxies that the universe is made of.

I had noticed him being up on the roof. But as long as he wasn't bothering me I could care less. Until finally I was getting annoyed by his presence. I disappeared from Wills side and reappeared standing beside the young boy. "You don know your not aloud up here, and your supposed to be in your dorm. So get there or I'll make you go there." I said in a threatening voice, I knew the little boy didn't stand a chance against me, so I figured he would do as I said.
 
I sat in my bed. I was SO bored.
 
I yawned.It was about 9:00 I reckon.But I didn't want to sleep.So, sitting on my bed, I called Drift and took out parchment, a quill, and ink.I figured Josh was in his dorm, so I started writing a note to him.
Josh,
What are you doing right now?
Me, I'm bored.

I sent it off, and hoped I didn't wake him up if he was sleeping when I sent it.
 
I heard an owl at my window.
I got up and saw it was Terra's owl, Drift.
I replied to her letter saying:

Nothing, I'm bored. Wanna go to the Common Room and play Wizards Chess?

I walked down stairs and saw Terra.
"What colour do you want to be?" I asked putting down my set.

OOC: I have to go to school now. Bye!
