Berii followed Cassidy as she led Karli to the Hospital Wing, feeling nervous and confused, thinking deeply. She pushed out all those thoughts as she tried to ran as fast as she could on the snow.

"Madam Promfrey!" Berii cried as she entered the Hospital Wing. "Karli...she's fainted." she looked out the door and waited for Cassidy to come with Karli.

Panting, and covered with quickly melting snow, Cassidy arrived in the hospital wing with Karli in her open hands. She handed her Animagus friend over to the nurse, and caught her breath. She pulled at her scarlet and gold Gryffindor scarf to loosen it, and looked at Madam Pomphrey for the diagnosis.

"Why don't you come back later?" the nurse suggested, and Cassidy detected a tone of worry in her voice. Cassidy didn't really want to leave, but the look on Madam Ponphrey's face told her otherwise.

Cassidy plodded out the door, looking back for Berii. Cassidy's expression was tight and grim. She brushed some snow off her shoulder, and looked at her watch.

"It's time for astrology," she said to Berii.

Just then, Andrew came down the hallway. Cassidy braced herself. She wasn't sure if he was over the fight they had that morning.

"What happened to Karli?" he demanded, looking past the two girls into the hospital wing.

"What do you care?" Cassidy spat, and walked past him. She looked back at Berii as if to say, "come on...let's get out of here..."

Berii quickly peeked at Karli before coming out of the room completely, when she was out, she saw Andrew passed by and asked something to Cassidy.

Berii bowed politely to Andrew and followed Cassidy quietly. She didn't really get why brothers and sisters fight. Thinking about that topic, she never really knew twins would ever fight. She thought they were supposed to be closer to each other or something but-

"I guess, I was wrong.... she thought.

Madam Pomfrey layed me on a bed, and took my necklace. She ran it under hot water. It quickly stopped glowing, and I transformed back into human. My ankles had stopped bleeding a little, but blood still stained my robes. The dream kept replaying, and each time, it seemed worse then the last.

I followed along silently. "This was all my fault!" I whispered softly, new tears trickling out of my eyes. "Wait up you two!!" I yelled. I knew everyone was going to hate me...

The dream started to go faster and faster, when suddenly I woke with a start. I heard the cold wind brushing against the window, and the sound of students walking past. I looked at my hands, and my eyes started to water. Madam Pmfrey rushed over to me, and gave me some chocolate.
"Its okay dear" she said kindly. "You'll be out by Christmas"
"But what about tonight?" I muttered slowly. Madam Pomfrey shook her head, and she said "no"
I slumped back into the pillow, still looking at my bandaged hands.

"Terra, what's the matter?" Cassidy asked her, noticing the tears that fell from her eyes. "Karli will be fine, so don't worry too much. Madam Pomphrey is a really good doctor."

She tried to reassure Terra with a smile, but even that was tainted with worry for her friend. Cassidy felt very grim, and a little stressed out with her brother making things diffecult. She shuffled up to the Astronomy lab without a word to her friends.

Sighing, she entered the classroom, and looked to see that the storm had finally cleared.

I just looked at Cassidy, then at the ceiling.
"But- It's all my fault..."
Standing there, I finally wiped away a few tears, but still stood like a statue.
Finally, realizing I had to go to Astronomy, ran up to the GCR, got my bag, and ran out to the class...

"Terra, it's not your fault. And she's going to be alright." she tried to convince her, she was worried too, but she didn't want to see everyone feeling down. She smiled softly at Terra before leaving, hoping she'll feel better later.

Berii entered the classroom with Cassidy, and looked around the room.

I arrived in the classroom shortly after Berii and Cassidy. Even though we never really had a chance to get a proper Astronomy class done, I have to say: It's pretty soothing, looking at planets on charats, and that sort of thing...

I soon fell into a dreamless sleep
---------------------------------------
An hour later, I woke, hoping to see my friends.
"Madam Pomfrey" I said. "Are my friends coming back? Are they alright?"
"Yes dear, just relax" she said. "They will come soon, their classes are almost over, its about 5:00"
I nodded.

For however much Cassidy enjoyed Astronomy, she could not concentrate for the life of her. Something felt...awkward, and not in the physical, human sense, but in the innate feeling one gets in the pit of their stomach before something bad happens. She thought briefly of what Josh had said yesterday about there being something in the castle...

She wrapped her scarf tighter around her neck, shivering, and looked through her telescope. The Aurora was out tonight, shinning very brightly for everyone to observe. Cassidy gazed at it happily from time to time as she plotted her charts.

At one point, she looked up, and saw something so disturbing that she almost screamed.

In the deepest, blood-red color of the Aurora, she could have almost sworn she saw letters...forming a phrase...

Tonight, Hogwarts will fall...

"Berii, Terra, did you see that?" she gasped, softly, hoping no one had heard her.

But already there were cries of suprise around her. Other students had spotted it already and were crying out for the teacher. Class was dismissed promptly, and students were sent back to their dorms.

"What wass that thing in the lake that got Karli?" Cassidy asked her friends as they pushed their way through the crowds to get to Gryffindor Tower. "Maybe that's what the problem is? And what a wretched time to have this happen! Right before holiday!"

She squirmed through the porthole into the common room. Professor McGonigall was there, waiting for her house to file in.

Madam Pomfrey rushed into the Hospital Wing looking scared.
"Im afraid your friends arent coming to see you tonight" she said. Her voice was shaky. I kicked off the covers, and got to me feet. I ran out of the Hospital Wing, deserting Madam Pomfreys cries. I reached the Common Room, and saw Cassidy,Terra, and Berii. I ran over to them. I was freezing, and I sensed something terrible. I had just realised that I was shaking.

I gasped, and turned pale when I saw the bloood red words form.
Judging by it, everyone else had spotted it too, for Cassidy cried out 'Berii, Terra, did you see that?'

And all of a sudden, everyone was in a rush, wanting to leave.
As my friends and I walked along, Cassidy popped the question.
"Probably so." I shuddered. For some reason I dropped my books, and when I bent to pick them up, my robe slightly came off, and the wound I had recieved from the creature was visible, slightly dripped with bluish silver blood, mixed with red.

"Horrible thing... A horrible, horrible aura of menace." I said to them as I stood up with my books, and shoved them into my bag.

"There have been some wierd things lurking about..." Cassidy supposed, thinking hard. "I bet they are all related! The cave troll, that butler Death Eater person, the chimeara, and the lake creature!"

Cassidy looked at her friends, terror in her eyes.

"You don't think it's Vol-" she was cut off abruptly with a stare from Professor McGonigall. Cassidy turned her attention to her.

"Students," she began hastily, her wand was in hand. "You are to stay in your dorms until further notice! Anyone who disobeys these rules will be severely punished. Someone will come to get you when it is safe."

She was bombarded with tons of questions from students. A few first years were sobbing in a corner, petrified.

"He-who-shall-not-be-named is here!" one girl cried out hysterically, throwing the common room into a panic.

Of course, Voldermort was nowhere to be seen, but the hysteria gave Cassidy an idea. She looked at Terra, Berii, and the shaking Karli.

"Let's go get some stuff upstairs," she told them. "We know a lot more about the events that happened over the past few days than most of the teachers do! We have to invesitigate!"

With that, she disappeared up the stairs to her room, grabbing her broom, and setting her books down in her trunk. She glanced for a moment at the gifts she would have to wrap later with a kind of longing.

If this is Voldermort...she thought quietly to herself. We could all die tonight...

Pushing the thought out of her head, she ran down to the common room, unnoticed by the commotion around her, and squeezed through the pothole. She stood in the shadows, her heart thumping unbearably, and waited for her friends.

Nodding, and looking over at Berii and Karli, as quickly as I could, I fled to the girl's dorm.
I noticed Cassidy taking her broom, so I took mine out as well(With my wand of course, you never know), peeking at the gifts and gift wrap inside, feeling a twinge of worry.
If Voldemort really is here, I... No, better not think about it. Thinking that, I saw Cassidy leave, I knew it was my cue to follow her.

Grabbing my cloak, the purple one, and putting it on, I too crept out of the dormitory.
Looking around with my broomstick, I saw Cassidy was not there... She must be waiting outside.

Dodging several people, I slipped out of the hole, into the shadows outside, were I found Cassidy.

I followed Terra, and each step I took I got colder and colder.
"Where sh-should w-we looked fi-first?" I stammered.

"What's up with you, Karli?" Cassidy asked softly, noticing her shivering. "Maybe you should get something warmer to wear? Or go back to the hospital wing?"

Cassidy took out her wand, and just in time. All the lights in the castle went out.

"Luminus!" she said to her wand, and the tip became a glowing light.

She looked at the others, trying to look brave, but inside, she was very frightened. The Christmas decorations around the castle gave off an eerie feel, quite the opposite of their original intention.

Suddenly, she saw Professor McGonigall making her way up the stairs in a hurry. Cassidy put out her light, and motioned for her friends to crowd into the dark space with her. She held her breath. If the Professor saw them...

"What's up with you, Karli?" Cassidy asked, noticing her shivering. "Maybe you should get something warmer to wear? Or go back to the hospital wing?"
I also was a bit concerened about her shivering, but I did not voice it.
When the lights went out, and when Cassidy pulled out her wand, and whispered 'Lumos!' I was grateful, and saw that I didn't need to pull my own out, for there was enough light.

A minute later, Cassidy had put the tip of her wand out, and I was about to ask why- When I saw the reason. Proffessor McGonagall was heading up the steps...
Now, were cramped in a dark corner, hoping she won't see us.
That was close. The proffessor, with a worried expression replacing her usal stern one, was muttering under her breath frettingly.

Once she was gone, I breathed: "That was close," I pulled out my own wand.
"Lumos!"

I snuck out and went my own route. I don't know who could be around.
If it's Voldermort, I said in my head. Buggerations!
Soon I heard familiar voices.
"Terra? Karli?" I asked whispering.
