"Nothing!" I cried out in a muffled voice when hearinh Karli's voice. A silence.
"Okay, I admit it, I... I..." I choked on a sob. "I..... feel.. So.. Distant from J-j-Josh lately... All her's been reallly doing, is practicing becoming a Animagus...." I squeaked, and cried hader.

Cassidy made her way alone to Gryffindor Tower, absently slipping her gifts to her friends under the tree, and gettinf ready for bed with great haste. When she reached her dorm room, she head Terra sobbing, and her explanation about feeling distant from Josh. All feelings of frustration and anger vanished, as she ran over to comfort her friend.

"Terra," Cassidy said soothingly, sitting on the edge of Terra's bed in her red and green pajamas. "It'll be alright. Why don't you talk to him about it tomorrow? I'm sure he'll understand if you just tell him how you are feeling."

Cassidy looked over at Karli, seeking her approval for the advice she had just given. She felt something had changed in all of them today. She and her friends seemed older somehow. She couldn't put her finger on it, but it bothered her, like an itch she couldn't reach.

"Are you all going home for break?" she asked, trying to lighten the situation, and feeling a little mor elike herself.

Andrew walked into Gryffindor Tower, feeling immensely relieved to be there instead of the Slytherin dungeon. He spotted a couple of Cassidy=s guy-friends putting gifts under the tree. He unloaded his there as well.

"Hi," he said to Josh. "I think you know me. I'm Andrew in case we haven't been formally introduced. It's nice to meet you. I think I'm in the same room as you..."

He trailed off, and looked at Josh, feeling kind of dumb.

I was lying on my bed awake. I was so bored! I checked the clock. It was one o'clock! Oh well! At least it would only be another six hours before my wake up time!

Edited my last post....Batesy...take a look! ^^

"N-n-no, I'm n-not... B-b-but thanks for your advice Ca-Cassidy." I gratefully replied, peeked out of the covers, and decided to come out.
"I-I look a fright, don't I?" I shakily laughed as I dug at my eyes, trying to make my vision clear, and at last succeeded. "Thank you for your advice, y-you guys. I feel better now."

"Anyone looks a fright after they've been crying," Cassidy smiled jokingly at her. and rubbed her back to comfort her. "I'm not going home for break either. My parents are still in Japan, though I think my Mum might come to visit sometime during break, you know, to see her old stomping grounds. She might even be here for the Quiddich match, if it's still on."

Cassidy looked at a clock that rested on someone's night stand. She flinched as she noticed the time.

"Well, I think I should go to bed," she told them, walking to her bed, and snuggling under the covers. She looked over at Terra and Karli with a smile. "Feel better, Terra. It'll all work out alright. Goodnight, guys."

She turned over in her bed, and fell asleep instantly...dreaming pleasnatly of tomorrow morning...

"Hi!" I said to Andrew. "Good night!"
I went to sleep.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"One o'clock!" I said waking up then. "Oh!"

"Its okay Terra. I think Josh just really wants to be a Animagus. He is rushing himself, he wont be able to do it as fast as he wants to. Yes I agree with Cassidy, talk to him. You shouldnt be sad on Christmas Eve" I whispered.

I nodded at Karli.
"I know... But..." I immeandeantly became overcome with sleepiness, murmered "Good night..." And soon fell asleep, though dreaming unsettled dreams...

The next morning came all too quickly. I sprang out of bed, trying not to wake anyone up, so I could brush my hair and teeth, and the next thing I knew, Drift had swooped into the GD. Attached to one of her legs was a scroll, which I took off, and a small package int the other.
Unrolling the scroll, I saw only a couple words, not much, but words that made me smile:
Dear Terra,
Merry Cristmas! We hope that you'll have a splendid time at school, although we'll sorely miss you over the break! Drift has a little suprise for you, that we picked up on our way to the Gnomice Village.
Mum and dad were wizarding travel agents, so I wasn't suprised. And three other words.... We love you!
-Mum and Dad

I smiled at the letter, put it down on my bed, along with the package.
"Thanks, Drift." I thanked my owl (She nipped my hand in return), and then flew off.
Looking at the two deliveries on the bed, I smiled again, and then made my way into the bathroom.

When it was the first crack of dawn, I had finally completed everyone's present except Karlis. "Do I have enough energy to give her hers?" I whispered. I looked at my hands and decided I did I have enough. I picked up all the presents and carried them quietly down to the Great Hall. I was the first one there so I sat my presents on the table and recounted them to make sure I had them all. I then slowly drifted into a light sleep. And slept until everyone else came down.

For the special occaision, I dyed two strands of hair in the front red and green (Thankfully, the dye wasn't permenant).
Also, the teachers had announced a couple days earlier that during the holidays, we wouldn't have to wear our usal robes, so I happilly dressed in a red tanktop and miniskirt(Along with the usal sandles).
I giggled when I saw myself with that getup, and added a spring of holly to the outfit, attaching it to my shirt. I giggled even more.

After all of that was done, I went down to the common room. Maybe Josh would be there...

Cassidy sprang out of bed on Christmas morning, throwing her covers aside, and brushing her hair and teeth quickly. She ran down to the Common Room, where Andrew already sat, half-asleep in a chair by the fire place. She smiled when she saw him.

"Happy Christmas, Andy," she said, and he jumped in his chair. She chuckled.

"Oh...hey Cass...Happy Christmas," he said sleepily, yawning. He got up from his chair, and sat with her by the Christmas tree. Still clad in their pajamas, the two sat in silence for a while.

"Oh geez," Cassidy said, rolling her eyes at the sight of his pajamas. "I can't BELIEVE you actually wear those."

Andrew looked at their matching pajamas and smirked. They both wore their red and green flannel pajamas, a gift from their parents last Christmas. He shoved her playfully, and she laughed, genuinely. Cassidy became quiet again, but felt very warm and content this morning. She wriggled her bare toes, and looked over at Andrew.

"You know," she said to him, feeling rather cheery. "I'm glad you got switched to Gryffindor, Andy."

He was quiet for a moment, not quite sure what to say to that. He heard footsteps on the stairs, and looked over at his sister.

"Thanks, Cass," he said, and reached under the tree for a box bearing his name. "Hope everyone gets down here soon!"

"Me too," Cassidy agreed happily.

Smiling at the two, and slightly overhearing hteir friendly conversation, and glad that I had gotten Andrew a present, which now lay under the tree. I continued going down the stairs.
"Hey you two!" I called to them energeticly, and ran down the stairs, giggling as I went.

I woke up earlier then usual. I quickly got dressed. I was wearing a knitted sweater (it was red and green) a red skirt, and black shoes. I just brushed my hair, and walked slowly down to the common room. I rubbed my eyes.
"Happy Christmas everyone", I said, as I went around and hugged everyone.

After eating her dinner, Berii quickly ran to the Gryffindor common room and placed her friends' gifts under the Christmas tree. Once she was done, she ran to her bed and without even saying goodnight to her friends, she fell asleep peacefully, dreaming on the next day.

When morning arrived, she jumped out of bed and took a quick shower. She wore a black mini-skirt with a loose belt hanging from waist to her hips, a bright red backless tank top that fits her perfectly making her feel uneasy, short, black boots with bells, her hair was down and wavy, tied with a red ribbon, and she was still wearing her dragon necklace. When she got down, she saw Terra, Cassidy, Karli, and Andy, but Terra already left.

"Hey guys!" she greeted. "Happy Christmas!"

Andrew put his present down, and looked at Cassidy.

"Let's go to breakfast instead, and open up our presents when everyone else is here," he suggested.

They both ran upstairs to their rooms to change. Cassidy, feeling a little geeky, got out a long, flowing, red skirt,, and a red and white striped long sleeved shirt, which hugged her figure nicely, and made her a little uncomfortable. She donned a Santa hat over her unruly blond hiar, pulled on some candy cane print stockings, a pair of black loafers, and headed out the door, putting on some cinnamin flavored lip gloss as she went. She and Andrew came down the stairs at the same time, and Cassidy was nearly on the floor in giggles.

Andrew stood in green, baggy pants, and an enchanted white tee shirt with a moving picture of Santa Claus flying his sleigh across the moon on the front. He had reindeer antlers on his head, and they looked very real, as there was no headband to hold them on. They looked like they grew out of his hair! She laughed loudly, clutching her stomach as she doubled over with laughter. Her loafers jingled with the sleigh bells she had tied to them as she stamped her feet hylariously.

Then, between the pair of antlers, flashed the words "Happy Chirstmas" in green letters.

Cassidy lost it then, gasping for breath as she laughed. Andrew rolled his eyes, and dragged her out the porthole, minding his antlers. The two walked to breakfast together, and sat down with Terra and Johann.

I chuckled at Cassidys outburst of laughter, and followed them out the portrait. Andy's antlers did look real, and I couldnt help but laugh a bit myself. Once we arrived at the Great Hall, I sat down beside Johann and hugged him.
"Happy Christmas" I said.
