Misadventures at Hogwarts: Term 2

I woke up to someone shaking me awake. I looked up and remembered I was in the Great Hall. I looked at the person and it was Jane. "Hey girl." I said yawning.

"Hey sleepy head, how are you?" She said sitting on the opposite side of me.

Jane was a year in head of me and one of the nicest girls in the whole school. I secretly saught her advice when things got rough. "I'm fine, I spent all night getting presents, I forgot to do that until last night." I said laughing.

"I'd better not get something sloppy or your names mud!" She joked trying to get me to laugh out of my tiredness.

I chuckled alittle bit, and said, "Don't worry, everything was done with extreme care. I think you'll like yours."

We both smiled and she said, "Well I'm going to greet the others, Merry Christmas."

"Merry Christmas Jane." I said as I recounted the presents I brought down.

I then found Karli hugging me, "Hey sweetie!" I said hugging back. "Merry Christmas!" I added as we left go of each other. "I got a special gift for you." I said smiling.
 
"Sweetie?" I asked shocked. "Feather should arrive later with your gift Johann" I said to him."No, I havent seen him terra. Im sorry" I said. I hadnt seen much of Josh for a few days. "Terra, I tuink we need to talk to him about this Animagus stuff. He is rushing everything, transforming can be dangerous. He isnt paying any attention to his friends" I whispered in her ear.
 
As soon as Berii had greeted all her friends, she rushed through the Great Hall and joined her friends. She greeted her frineds (again) and ate breakfast. She was wondering when she'll go home, she misses her parents like crazy! She looked back at her friends and chuckled at what Cassidy and Andy was wearing.
 
I looked at her sadly, put down my goblet, and kept my gaze on the table.
In a quiet voice I replied: "That's what I was afraid of."
 
I smiled at Karli and said, "I think you'll like your gifts. I have them right here. But you don't get them yet." I laughed and saw the rest of the crew, "Hey everyone! Merry Christmas!" I said hugging Berii, and the rest of them. "I have presents for all of you!" I said happily, suddenly not feeling tired anymore, instead I felt very playful.
 
I put my arm around Terras shoulder.
"We'll wait until after the holidays, right now you should be happy" I told her.
I smiled at Johann. I felt very happy right now, spending the holiday with my friends.
 
Cassidy was very near beaming when everyone sat down at the table. Everyone was in such good cheer, and it lifted her spirits. She gulped down some pumpkin juice, and ate her blueberry pancakes slowly, savoring the flavor of the maple syrup. She popped a strip of bacon in her mouth, and chewed thoughtfully.

"I bet Josh is gonna be jealous of your antlers," Cassidy joked heartily, glancing over at Josh, whom Terra was giving her utmost attention. She hoped everything would be okay between them, especially since it was Christmas.

Andrew, meanwhile, helped himself to some ham, and suddenly, felt something goey trickling from his antlers. A snickering group of Slytherins confirmed his suspicion, as he cleaned the syrup off his antlers. He paid them no heed, though he would have loved to mess up their prissy clothes with some catsup...

Cassidy sensed her brother's restrain, and patted him on the shoulder reassuringly. She had finished her breakfast by now, and was eager for her friends to open their presents.

"Meet you guys back in the common room!" she called gleefully, walking towards the door, the bells on her shoes jingling merrily.

Andrew remained at the table, now enjoying a Belgian waffle with whipped cream....
 
OOC: I think Josh is still in the Common Room, Skye.... I'm not sure.
"Yes, I guess I should be..." I laughed feebly, though feeling a twinge of sadness. Soon, I chased after Cassidy.
 
I giggled, and ran after Cassidy and Terra. Once I got to the common room, I sat down by the fire.
 
When they left I pulled out my violin and said to everyone in the Hall, "How about some fun music?" i then started playing the Irish Jig, and danced to it as I played it. I had most of the people up and dancing, the people that weren't I lefted them off there feet and got them to dance, even the slytherins I did this too. I then increased the tempo until I was playing as fast as I could and then I slowed it down and repeated this and then I mixed it up.
 
Cassidy situated herself by the Christmas tree, looking very much like a little kid with her oversized Snata hat covering most of her head. She was uncontrollably happy.

Andrew had taken a seat by the fire near Karli. His mind was on Berii though, and he could hardly contain his very obvious grin. He wondered...and the thought kind of freaked him out...but, did they hand mistletoe at Hogwarts.

Andrew blushed, and focused his attention under the Christmas tree. Cassidy looked very happy sitting there, waiting for all her friends to arrive. Her cheeks were rosy with happiness, her smile very bright, and the twinkling lights shinned off her eyes enchantingly. He wondered for a moment how this happy, merry girl could have possibly been the same one who had lost her temper yesterday. He turned his attention to the porthole, where he hoped Berii would be passign through shortly...
 
I couldnt keep the smile off my face. It was only 8:00 and everything was going great. I noticed Andrew going red
"Whats up?" I asked him. 'Waiting for Berii?"
 
When I finished I was pouring with sweat all over, the crowd went wild and I bowed happily. I then entertained them with all the corny magic tricks I knew, and I even created a few new ones. Okay, now when is Karli going to come back so I can give her both of her presents? I thought to myself as I jogged knifes in one hand and did a few one handed tricks with the other hand.
 
Seeing all her friends were done, Berii quickly finished her bacons and grabbed some pancakes to fill her stomach. Once done, she rushed up to Gryffindor common room. When got in she looked around the room and smiled. The decorations looked lovely and all her friends were happy, what could go wrong?
 
I sighed as I sat down by the fire. I could see that the others were in a jolly mood though, Andrew blushing, Kalri teasing Andrew about Berii (I guess he has a crush on her).
But I just wasn't.
I couldn't concentrate on the large tree, or the mistletoe peices three 4th years were now putting up near all over the Common Room, nor Andrew's funny antlers...
Just on one person.
Josh.
 
"Ah....no...what gives you that idea??" Andrew asked nervously, shuffling his feet. It was then that Berii came in, looking as cheerful and radiant as ever. To his suprise, he blurted out: "H-happy Christmas, Berii!"

Cassidy sent Andrew an all-knowing look, and proceeded to look around the room. Grinning, she surveyed the attendance in the common room, and then asked loudly so they would all hear: "everyone here?"
 
"Terra? Are you okay?" I said, walking over to her. "Dont tell me....Josh? Come on cheer up, its Christmas"
 
I frowned. "Nah, I'm just thinking..." I lied through my teeth, then focused my attention on the 4th years again, who now had put mistletoe up..... Practically everywere, every single nook and cranny.
 
I followed Terra's gaze.
"Ya...right" I said. "He'll come, dont worry"
