"Sounds like a deal," Skye agreed. She was still barefoot, her feet now on the snow in the coutyard, but of course she did not feel it. She looked at Johann. "I wish we had spoken sooner. We probably could have avoided the whole fight we had."
She yawned and stretched, watching the sun as it peeked over the horizon.
"Have fun at breakfast," she said, her voice as cold as the air and snow around her. There was no bitterness, no anger, only a lack of feeling. "I'm going to go to bed, I think. Good bye."
She turned and left, bringing herself to the Gryffindor Tower, and practically passing out on her bed. She fell into a deep sleep, and did not awaken until mid-afternoon.
