Cassidy wiped her eyes quickly, and looked at Terra. They were in the strange room that seemed to show up at just the right time when Cassidy needed it. The walls and floors of the room-turned-dojo gleamed cleanly, save for the placed on the floor where Cassidy had placed her bare feet.

"I'll be alright," Cassidy assured her, wiping her eyes once more. "Just....dealing with stuff right now. What about you? Are you feeling any better than yesterday? I was getting worried."

She noticed Terra's broom and Quiddich robes.

"The game's today, isn't it? It should be a good time. Who are we playing?" Cassidy asked, trying to get the attention off herself, and on to something else.

I snapped the locks shut and put the violin case down beside the rock then I hopped on the rock and sat beside Karli again. "Thank you, I've been playing for about 7 years. I've started playing when I was 5." I said softly, almost deep in thought. Then I snapped out of my trance and said smiling, "See I'm not all brains and brun. I have a soft side...for you and the violin that is." I started blushing and my heart felt heavy because I wasn't sure how she would react. i then changed the subject by saying quickly, "Your very good with the Flute. Never knew you play an instrument."

"Hufflepuff." I answered immedeantly, grinning.
Then my grin faded.
Should I tell Cassidy about the voice?
...
Yes. I will.

Clutching my robes as, these words came out, suddenly:
"Well.... I... Have... Something else to tell you... You know yesterday afternoon, right?.."

I smiled.
"Everyone has a soft side....well, most people..." I said, now thinking about my father. I then kissed him on the cheek.
"Thanks, my mother played it to me when I was a baby. Now it sooths me. I just never wanted to play it..."

"Hufflepuff...should be a great game!" Cassidy said, trying to cheer up. She wiped the reamaining tears off her cheeks, and looked at Terra when she began to mention yesterday.

Cassidy sat cross legged on the ground next to Terra, sensing her anxiety abou the situation. She bit her lower lip.

"What about yesterday?" she asked gently.

I put my hand on top of her hand closest to me and then looked straight infront or me. "Your father...I met him last night...I couldn't sleep...so I went to the locker room and got my sword...and after about 30 minutes of training in the courtyard...your father applauded my skills...we then got into a battle...I transformed into that monster at the dance...except I found control in myself...Sebastian came out to face him, he sliced your fathers arm, leaving a big gash, it disabled his right hand...he can't use a sword with his right hand anymore...and through that battle Sebastian and I joined to become one soul...now I feel complete...I'm over my weaknesses..." I said slowly explaining what happened last night. "I'm now one whole body, there is no more evil in my body...and with that confidence, I'm not afraid to tell you that..." I paused to grip her hand in my and then faced her eye to eye, I said slowly and softly "...I do love you, and I'd do anything for you..." Now I didn't fear what she said because I knew my feelings for her were true and nothing she said would change that. I just sat there and waited for her answer.

I closed my eyes, wondering how to explain this horrifing situation.
"Well..... I... I'm hearing this voice... It's like this kind of hissing tone... And.. It's telling me to stay away from you, and the rest of my friends... I-I'm not sure what it is... But yesterday, see, I heard it, and it was telling me to do things... I didn't want to. And then, when I was trying to resist it, there was this pain... All over.... It hurt.... So much... And it mainly appears when I think."

Saying this I opened my eyes again, and shuddered, then looked into Cassidy's eyes, ready to tell about today's 'voice episode'.

"I... Also heard it... This morning. I just thought a simple thing, and then poof, there it was. I... Well, it spoke something in Parseltounge, something I didn't understand, even though I do speak Parseltounge, because of my time in Slytherin."

I hugged him. "I love you to..." I said. I let go of him, and transformed. I sat there for about a minute, and flew away.

I just sat there alittle longer, taking in what was said. My soul felt good, and peaceful, more than it ever had. I got up off the rock and picked up my violin case. I walked out of the forbidded forest and into the castle. I put away the violin then went back to the Great Hall. I found Jane and Will still enjoying their new love for each other. I sat down on the other side of them, I had a big smile on my face. Will had guessed exactly what happened, "I told you Johann. You should have listened to me." Will said taking about of french toast.

It took Jane alittle bit more time to figure it out but then just smiled and said, "Congratulations Johann. I feel happy for you."

"Quiet! I have an announcement to make!" Dumbledore roared over the crowd.

Once every one fell silent, he continued, "It is once again Spells and Monsters season! The first meet is this Sunday! Our team so far is still Johann and Will. If you are interested in making a team come see either me or Professor Bache. We are the coaches, and will be happy to have more teams from our school. Teams are only up to 2 people, you may now have one animal partner if you so choose. Although Dragons can't help until you reach Rank A." He said the last part staring at me. "Do not worry about competeing against these two young wizards. They are already rank B, the ranks go from E-S. You will start from E and work your way up. Again, if you are interested in SAM and have a two person team ready, come see either me or Professor Bache and we will see what you got. Thank you and enjoy your day." Dumbledore said sitting down.

A little way across the lake, I perched on a tree, pulling out loose feathers from my wings. It started to get misty, and I stopped what I was doing.
"I searched the castle...the girl wasnt there...I searched everywhere-" said a voice.
"Silence!" said another voice. "Do you hear that?"
I ripped my medallion off my neck, and through it into the water.
"Oh, its just a bird..." it said.
The man quickly turned its attention back to the other man.
"Find her....or die" is all I heard before flying away.

"No, nothing is wrong...Im fine...just a owl scared me" I answered him. "Nothing to worry about"

"So... That's it." I said, standing up, fingering my broom lovingly, for I was both relived, that I told someone, and itching to go play Quidditch.
"I... Just wanted.. To tell ssomeone..." Saying this, and looking at her slightly shocked face, I trudged out of the room, going down to brekfast.

I was checking my outfit along the way (Ice-blue jeans, black tank-top, ice-blue crystal on a piece of leather string-a necklace-, socks, and sneakers), because... I had a strange tingly feeling, and wondered if it had to do with the clothes...

Berii awoke the next morning, feeling as cheerful as ever. Today, her dream was refreshing, not at all depressing, nor daunting. She jumped out of her bed, grabbed some clothes, and rushed in the bathroom. Her hair was tied in a ponytail, she was wearing black jeans, white longsleeve shirt under a blue shirt that has a star emblem, blue tinted shades on her head and dark blue flying shoes (those shoes with wheels in them). She made her way down to the Great Hall, happily humming a cheerful song.

I tried my best to act cheerful when I entered the Great Hall.
When Tim passed me, and said "Hello, Terra! Ready for the match?"
I just mumbled "Yes, I am.", earning a concerened look from him and the other chasers which were passing by as well.
Sitting down at the Gryffinfor table, I tried to concetrate on the game.
Finally, after a goblet of pumkin juice, I had my mind concentrated on only the game.
"I can't wait!" I whispered to myself, already psyched about it.

Then, suddenly, my thoughts revolved around to Josh.
I'm really worried about him, he's spending a lot of time practicing... I hope no one sees him, though, because then he might be expelled... I miss him so much, even though he's not even gone... I miss his eyes, they always sparkle when he's ready for adventure.... That's what makes him so special... Thinking that, instantly felt a pang of worry, and sorrow.

Ooh, you're missing your little 'boyfriend' aren't you? Heh... That's your weakness, you know... That, and your pathetic friends-

You know, I'm starting to think that you're NOT my consience-

Hah hah, you finally figured it out, right? Don't worry my dear, I won't interfere here anymore, the link is weak, because of your meddlesome thoughts, but.... You shall see me... Soon... Face to face...

"Ah!" I cried out, as a searing flame of pain hit me, making me clutch my stomach. Some Gryffindors looked at me worriedly, and whispered things like 'I hope she feels okay... I mean, blimey, we ca't have our seeker drop out t'day!'...

Then, it stopped at last. But not before leaving a tingly feeling in my head.

Cassidy took in Terra's story quietly, not sure what to make of it. She followed her to the Great Hall, taking a seat next to her, even though she had already eaten.

"Sorry for not saying anything back there," Cassidy said. She turned to look at Terra with concern flashing in her eyes. "I think you should really go talk to Dumbledore or something. He'd know what to do. Any of the professors would. It could be dangerous, especially if that voice is in parseltongue."

Cassidy turned back to the table, and noticed that Andrew had plopped down opposite her, looking a little dreary.

"What's up, Andy?" she asked, puzzled. She then noticed that their mother was not there. "Where's Mum?"

"She went home," he said awkwardly. "She had a talk with Dumbledore or something, and didn't say about what, but she wasn't happy about it."

"Oh," Cassidy said apathetically, looking at the plate before her. She had wanted some ice cream to lift her spirits a little, but instead a salad sat before her. She frowned at it. "She didn't say goodbye?"

"No...just left a note with Dumbledore, saying what I told you," Andrew explained.

Cassidy shrugged and picked at her salad. Andrew was eating some baked potato skins with bacon and cheese on top.

"Excited for Quiddich today?" he asked, looking up from his food, hoping for a change of subject.

"I am...and a little nervous," she admitted, looking at Terra. "But we've got Terra on the team, so we'll be alright. She's an awesome Seeker!"

"She's an awesome Seeker!"
I could swear that's what Cassidy said, but I was too deep in thought.
Now that I could think freely without intrusions, my mind was concentrated on two things: Josh, and the match.
"Turn left, swivel right, turn left, swivel right...." I heard myself chanting the instructions Tim had given me, nonstop, in a daze.

"I've gotta go change into my robes!" Cassidy realized, looking down at her casual wear. "I'll see you all later!"

Cassidy dashed out of the Great Hall, and up the seven flights of stairs to Gryffindor Tower. She threw her scarlet Quiddich robes over her clothes, admiring how wrinkle-free she had kept them. Next, she grabbed the Quiddich gloves Tim had given her, and slid them on with a smile.

Grabbing her broom, she went outside, flying slowly towards the Quiddich field. Some students had already gathered there, and she felt her first pang of nervousness. What if she wasn't good enough, like her mother had said? Cassidy replaced her worried expression with one of fierce determination, and her flying became straighter and faster. She flew up to their waitng place, and sat down, waiting for the others.

***

Andrew looked over at Terra. She didn't look so well.

"Terra, you all right?" he asked softly, so that none of the others could hear. He didnt want to embarass her.

I smiled weakly. "Yeah, just reciting some moves Tim told me to do. See you, Andy." Saying so, I put on my Quidditch gloves, took up my broom and bag, then swiftly fled to the Quiddicth 'Stadium'...
----
"Cass! Are you ready?" I asked her as I flew onto the field.

As I flew over the water, I noticed the snow started to melt suddenly. On the shore, I saw a Hippogriff. It bowed, and I nodded my head.

I flew back to the school, and to the Quidditch Feild. I flew in and out of the hoops. I saw Terra and Cassidy. I hoped I was safe here.
