Modern Warfare 2

This thing was an 8 pound box of rape waiting to be opened. I heard that they might be getting rid of Deep impact, so I might change it up for 3x nades or claymores.

My secondary set was M1014 auto shotgun with stopping power, steady aim and martyrdom. Just running arround like a madman and popping people when they least expect it is satisfying.

But I will agree that the M1014 is the most fun gun in the game. I love getting close and getting a headset from 10 feet away.


As for any weapons that I'll be trying out...
~ G3
This used to be my main weapon before the update where they put a limit on how fast you can see weapons like the G3... the handguns, etc. I could fire it like a full auto and kills were easy as pie. But then the update rolled around and it didn't feel right anymore and I couldn't shoot as fast and I had probs getting my kills. So if they make the G3 full auto (like the CoD4 campaign) or take away that limit then I'll likely be going back to it... at least for one of my classes.

~ M16A4 / Red Dot
This used to be my "main weapon" for like 8 prestiges. And then after the update that screwed my G3 over I went back to the M16. And it'll likely be the weapon I use form the start. It's a good weapon, and for the most part is dependable. I have no reason to drop this weapon all together.

~ G36C
This is my rushing class weapon. The M4 is a better weapon (I think it's almost as powerful and doesn't bounce around as much), but I like the G36 better. I loved it in CoD4, as long as they don't screw it up too bad I'll love it in MW2.

~ M40A3
My personal fav sniper (and my main sniper. I have 2 sniper classes). I have double tap on the weapon so it shoots a good bit faster (just in case I miss). I play Hardcore so it's not like I need the M40's power to get a kill, I could use an M21 and spray away, but I'm a little better then the n00bs in CoD4 who have to tube or spray to get kills in hardcore.


And I think that's about it for me. There are more classes I'd like to bring back, but I think these are my main ones.

OOOH, so they put out an update on the G3 and that's why it's not full auto like in the campaign? I always wondered why they did that. I still enjoy using the thing though. :P

And double tap on your sniper class is interesting. I've never even thought about trying that, guess I'll have to. :D
 
My main build I use is the M16 with Red Dot. Sure, say what you will, but M16+Stopping Power= PWNAGE. Then I had Extra 3 grenades and Extreme Conditioning.

I play alot on the Shotgun-Pistols HC only servers, so I just bomb the M1014 and M9 with Sleight Of Hand. It's really reliable, since it's only 4 shells, and it's like a 1 second reload.

And my Ghost Build...ahh, the lovelyness of near invisibility(Aside from being seen). MP5 Silenced, Usp.45 Silenced, Uav Jammer, Claymores, and Steady Aim.

Then Of course my Sniper build.....eh, I admit it. R100 and Last Stand. And since I'm n00bish like that....3 stun nades. :/

N00b profile me if you will. :D

So...push to shove, I might just use the same crap, if it's still there.
 
12 days seem like such a long time! Im gonna just die! Guess I will pass the time by with attempting Nazi Zombies Achievements! Halloween spirit! How are you guys passing the time by?

No, they put an update out there to stop modded controllers. The G3 was never full auto in the multiplayer, it was just a single shot weapon that fired as fast as you could shoot it. So people who had modded controllers used that and would turn it into a weapon that was full auto and if I remember right... it had more power then the M16. But sadly for people who just fired fast (such as myself) it slowed it down as well.

And yea, double tap on any bolt action weapon (CoD4, or WaW) will make it shoot faster. I've heard it also makes the weapon shoot slower on weapons such as the M21 and other smiauto snipers.

Why would you put Last Stand on a sniper? I've never understood it. I find it pointless because.... you're a sniper, most of the time the people who take you out are.... snipers.

I need one more achievement for WaW and it's annoying. It's the one where you got to get 75,000 points in a single game. The most I got was 60,000 and then I died at dog round. I think if I had made it then I would have gotten 75,000 before the next dog round (maybe...).

And as for passing the time by.... I got 4 new games the other day, I don't have probs with passing the time. XD
 
Pre-ordered MW2 finally yesterday so its all sealed now.

Passing the time with Zombies (Hate the way that you can't get map pack 2 achievements on Der Riese) and just bought Fallout 3 to help as well.

School will pass most of the time now though. :l

For whoever it was who used the G36C, I don't feel like scrolling back up :/, they aren't putting it in MW2.

I'll continue to use the A40A3, Acog, Bandolier, Stopping Power, andddddddddddd Deep Impact.

That's all I needed. Occasionally I went Scilenced AK47U, Stopping, Bandolier, and DI.
 
I guess I'll stick with my Stopping/Bandolier/Dead Silence + Silenced Skorpion setup in MW2 as well.

Fun running around and shooting anything that moves.

I agree. And I know it's going to be put on Search and Destroy, my main gametype. I don't know what they expect people to do when they want to talk to someone who is playing another game.
 
It's meant to combat the players who expose the position of enemies if they're dead or on the other team themselves, etc.
It won't change anything, though. They'll find other ways to do it like, y'know, use a cell phone or maybe even Ventrilo on a laptop while playing on a 360.

Who else is excited for the 3rd Person Shooting Playlist? Its been confirmed and I think its great.
 
This just in: Modern Warfare 2 on PC has no lean and is capped at 9vs9.

I think I'll go spend my money on a developer that actually wants it.

This is pretty nice though.
 
It's funny seeing all the PC players complain now that they have to play like console players have for years.
