That's why I'm never in gamechat. If I play with someone I'm in a private chat, if I play by myself I pull my mic. I can hear what they say, but it's harder for me to get into a fight if my mic isn't in, or if I'm not in game chat.UHHHHHH!
This exact thing just happened to me.
Someone on level 24 had the mic on and had music blaring, he was shouting to someone in the background and just being an idiot.
Naturally, I muted him, but when he was constantly camping and tubing, I turned him back on and my mic and he started saying I was moaning because I was rubbish and not playing the game correctly.
Uhhh. Didn't even have the strength to argue back. Just quit the game and now turned off my PS3.
It is a shame that people can annoy me so much that they force me to turn the console off altogether.
Meh. From my experience the less skilled players who are generally new to the game are the campers, whereas the noob tubers and all other cheap players are the higher up.

This is the first CoD I've truly played, and I have to say; this game is only fun when you play with friends or in Free-For-All matches. It sort of reminds me of Nintendo. I loved the N64, the GC, and so on. But when the Wii came along, and it because a casual thing, that's when I dropped Nintendo. They could have had at least 720p, they could have done something better then the Friend Codes, they could have had better online, and so on.
MW2 did much the same, they opened it up to everyone (Care Packages, Deathstreaks, HBS, unlimited tubes, etc). And I don't mind new people getting on the boat and playing. But when you break a system just to get more people... that's when the hardcore group gets pissed. New people come along and think it's ok to camp, in fact they'll "argue" with you about it (even if their comebacks are "I owned you!"). And MW2 is what made many of the people into what you see on the game, lifeless stuck up people who think they're something because they can camp, tube, boost, or glitch.

I only play FFA and I've only come across two boosters who I had continously screwed over with my RPG class. Commando's are easy since you can hear them from a mile away. Campers shouldn't be a worry since they are generally on the bottom of the scoreboard.FFA sucked today, it either had to be full of tubes, commandos, campers, or people who insist letting the easy kill slip past them and then frag the guy chasing him.
Lost a Chopper Gunner in each match, but I still stayed in first and second.
You mean MW2 was your first CoD? Wow, you sure missed out on CoD4 (back before the update came out where they crapped up the spawns). That game was so good it made me cry. This is the first CoD I've truly played, and I have to say; this game is only fun when you play with friends or in Free-For-All matches.

Yea COD4 was great, that makes me wonder how they failed so bad on MW2, tring to make a great game better no dount.... "Don't fix what ain't broken"
:) I played CoD4 for five minutes when it first came out on my stepdad's computer. You mean MW2 was your first CoD? Wow, you sure missed out on CoD4 (back before the update came out where they crapped up the spawns). That game was so good it made me cry.
No, I mean the multiplayer. It was gold back years ago when it first came out. The TD spawns were perfect (where today CoD4's spawns are bad like MW2 and WaW), the people weren't all pricks, the perks, and such were all pretty level, and so on.It didn't make me cry, but did make me shout "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" at parts =]
Not that many games have done that. Haha, but if you haven't played COD4, I strongly recommend it.
I wouldn't say that MW2 failed, I personally like MW2 better overall. But they did drop the ball in many places, and some of them places were ones where they tried to expand on CoD4.Yea COD4 was great, that makes me wonder how they failed so bad on MW2, tring to make a great game better no dount.... FYI I'm 100% legit, if you look at my stats you'll see I dont boost or cheat... My stats are a little above avarage
I miss the days where I could get a group together. Back when CoD4 or WaW was up we never played in a group smaller then 4. And on WaW I have a legit 59 win streak in Search (and the only reason why it wasn't higher was because a few people on our friends list joined on the other team and knew where we went and so on). And in Search on WaW it counts 1 Search round as 1 game, meaning we won 59 straight rounds, i.e. over 14 games we went 4 and 0. I miss them days.I'm only rarely able to get a group together, and the people I play with in a group are all people I actually know (and people they know and so on). We've gone on a 24 win streak with just our group in TDM, and it was great.
That's so sad, CoD4 was just one of them games you couldn't miss out on.:) I played CoD4 for five minutes when it first came out on my stepdad's computer.

And what are your stats?
I wasn't really much of a gamer back then. All I really played was GW.That's so sad, CoD4 was just one of them games you couldn't miss out on.
Well, my win Streak ain't too great too be honest, because I just go in the game to have fun, and usually on my own, so I get random players.I started playing Free for all yesterday and I got a 37 win streak playing it. The weird thing though is that after some games it added to my streak and after others it didn't. The streak didn't completely end though until I switched playlists.
