Modern Warfare 2

Omg, this is the best year ever... the upcoming map pack for this looks so effing epic.

I disgree.

We dont need more maps, we need more fixes.

And the first map pack was hardly anything to celebrate.

"What can we do now?"
"Map packs!"
"Great! We will make 2 alright maps, and one god awful map! Wait, that wont be right"
"I know! Lets package it with 2 old maps, so the people who liked MW will buy it for the old maps!"

I was there. I saw things i shall not mention, nor can i forget....

:D

I agree they should focus more on fixes, rather than new additions. But like I said they only care about money or the map packs would be free...

I would like to see the G36c return, but of course, it wont.

I loved that gun. The ACR is supposed to be the same, but where is the love?

Robert Bowling sure is a clown, I don't know about a stealthy one, though.

MW24/7 has a video of gameplay for the Map Pack.

@ 1:45 I was like 'Thats why you should get rid of them'.
I watched that on the 360... The maps look pretty good, can't say that I was happy to see Robby B's face on there again...

Anyway, today I'm going to say a little something about teammates. Worthless.... all of them, just about every person you run into on MW2 is a worthless piece of crap, a dead weight in the game. Their brain size is about as big as a raisin, and they all must be drooling all over the controller because they can't do anything. I don't know how many of you play Deathmatch by yourself but I play it a good bit (I play it by myself because I have no one to play it with). And one thing I've learned (even if it doesn't stay in my mind) about this game is don't depend on your teammates. I just got out of a game where I went 36 and 7 with no air support (I had UAV, Counter UAV, and Attack Helicopter... I got one kill with the chopper). I couldn't depend on them to watch my sides, or my back, I couldn't depend on them to put a UAV up to tell us where they're at, I couldn't depend on them to shoot the enemies ahead of them. Only thing they were good for was to give the enemy kills.... here's the scores for my team...
Me: 37/7
#2: 18/6
#3: 11/13
#4: 6/20
#5: 3/15
#6: 1/8
Really.... 3 and 15? 6 and 20? Sadly this is common for me (in fact I've seen people go 0 and 20 before, it must take great skill to go 0 and 20 in a game, I can blindly throw a Throwing Knife across the map and still get a kill), people just don't think. We won by 5 kills, as you can see I had to get 37 of the 75 kills needed to win. I've had it worse before, my highest scoring TD match was like 54 and 6 (it was above 50 kills and below 10 deaths, I know that for sure), that is over 2/3 of the kills needed to win. It just pisses me off that I'm 1 away from a high killstreak only to lose it because someone takes my kill, or they get past 4 teammates and kill me. I can't stand casual players, they're the downfall of the game. I know everyone can't be hardcore, but you have these people who go 6 and 20, people who camp and tube, and the whole time they're just saying "I just want to have fun" and they don't want to try to get better.

Blah, that's my rant for tonight. ^_^

U nailed my biggest complaint on the head with a sledgehammer I keep saying this happens to me, the match making code for MW2 blows like a blue whale trying to catch his breath... I always get stuck on the crappy team while it seems the other team is stacked against me...

I like the fact he openly promoted camping.
What I like is how stupid the dev team is... "Oh I'm getting shot over and over at the same spot by the same person, lets NOT watch the killcam to see where they're at". And even if it's Hardcore it doesn't take much to find out where someone is at.

I know I hate that all my teammates suck. There was a level 5 guy who went 2 and 21. Then on Highrise I got all the bad people. So, everyone just campped at the start and killed everyone on the team.

Haha, Level and Rank truly means nothing in Call of Duty except how much time you have in ur hands...

I don't send messages to the level 5, I send messages to the 4th prestige who brings up the bottom of the page after game.

does level really matter? I was level 1 a week ago now I'm level 30 I'm no better now then I was back then.
Yes and no. It is true that if you had enough time on your hands you could make it all the way up to 10th prestige without trying. But really... if you're a legit 10th then you should be pretty good.
Really all it comes down to is common sense (whatever level you are), if you don't got it you're not a good player. That's as straight forward as I can be. You can have a headset, you can have Modded controllers, you can be playing on a 50" TV but if you lack common sense you're still going to do bad. It doesn't take much, I mean if your whole team is on the other side of the map... guess what... the enemies is going to spawn where you're at (yea... the game has crappy spawns, but still). If you see a little while skull pop up on your screen then chances are an enemy is there. If someone kills you at the same spot 3 times don't run back there for a 4th time. Stuff like sets the good and bad players apart.

When I'm playing games I don't think of the 50 different things going through my head when I play.
I heard 2 different gun shots when that person died, there's at least 2 people over there. / I'm getting low on ammo I need a different weapon. / The enemies are all over the place, I need to spawn with an ACR and not my Mini Uzi. / Oh there's an M16 with FMJ and a Red Dot... I'll take that over my SPAS. / Ok I killed that person 2 times already, they should be coming back right about now. / My right side is pretty well covered, I need to check my left to make sure no one is coming out of the bunker. / They're spawning right over the hill, I'm one away from my Harrier, I don't need to rush them right now. / This shot will likely not hit or kill them, I need to wait until I get a more clear shot. / Right now it's close quarters, my SPAS will work better then my M16. And so on and so on.

These things will happen in real time, and you're not even thinking about them. But it all comes back to playing the game and having common sense. It sets apart the casual players and the everyday players. The casuals they'll get on, don't care about their K/D, just there to "have fun".They get on, talk about work today with their buddies, not thinking about the game, and just have a good time. While the whole time someone like me is having to drag the team along because I don't find dying fun, I don't find losing fun. It doesn't take much to win a TD game, just 2 or 3 good players.

Does rank matter?... No. But with that rank you should have a little experience with the game. It is hard to have 15 days in the game and every single game go 5 and 15.

Nah, I was owning prestieges when I was level 40, I'm still owning prestieges who are far higher than me.

Thats why COD has the worst lv system ever... Like I said the game is broke, but its not cause of the perks its cause the overall systems... like the ragdoll physics, matchmaking system, lv system ect... If the allowed ppl to lose their lvs they'd care more, and the game would be more interesting...

Level doesn't matter all that matters is how good you are. I kept killing a bunch of level 70.
