3rd Gen Monotype Challenge, R/S/E Edition!

I won't force you to restart if your that far in the game, but you are going to have to deposit it in a box (you don't have to release it). It cannot be used for the rest of the challenge. I might change my mind around the E4, but as of now you can't use it. There are many other water options to choose from. Oh, and the only Gameshark deal I made with was for the Dragon type (see former posts).

I will update when I have another chance, I need to get to Flannery >.<.
 
wait, that was ONLY for Dragon-type? crud...should I start over? I GS'd a Chinchou @ the beginning because u can't get an Electric type until after the 2nd badge and I'm using a rom so I can't trade
 
Well um he said only 3rd gen and and that pokemon is 2nd gen and he made that deal with me because the closest dragon type for me was trapinch and it ws bout half way through the game.but idk he nice and will probbly let you keep on with it.

P.S. and you can trade with rom ect. VbaLink google it ^^
 
You can GS for the starter. I just let him bonus GS because he would need to trade for Kingdra, and that was the 4th dragon type (kinda necessary). You dont have to start over Jagwar :).
 
Yes, much luck. I still need to get to the fourth gym again. Girlfriend came over and she > games by a large margin.
 
May I suggest another rule for more of a challenge? The type you pick, must be the first type of the Pokemon you use. For example, you choose Flying. You can use a variety of Flying Pokemon like Pidgey, whos types are "Flying, Normal" <--- in that order. But you cannot use Pokemon like Moltres, because it's type 1 is Fire, and it's type 2 is Flying.

Get it? I think this way it'll pose a bigger challenge in some ways. Depending on the Type chosen however.

This looks like fun! I'll do poison, the (arguably) worst type in the game! However, Crobat and Tentacruel pwn so I think I'll be okay.

EDIT: Forgot, I'll be using Sapphire.

Well i have'nt done a update in a long time so here it is Enjoy ; )

After Defeating them foretree gym leader i set off to lilycove city beat every trainer along the way.Once there i fought my rival beat her and went to Mt. Pyre to see what was going on thier.After defeating all the trainers in Mt. Pyre i went to the top and there i pwned team aqua when they took the red orb.Then i went to train my pokeon a little more on Mt. pyre.
Short version: (went to both team aqua's and team magma's base and cleaned them both up ,and then went to them mossdeep city gym beat the leader's then went to the space station beat team magma with steven,then found the underwater cavern pwned team aqua (Again) after that went to sootopolis city and seen groudon and kyoger fight got rayquaza to stop them then went back to the sky pillar caught rayquaza then saved in front of the sootpolis gym about to face the leader).

Update: Beat everyone in the sootopolis gym juan did'nt land one hit on me and then saved in front of the pokemon center.

-Beat Team Magma at Mt. Chimney three times due to my own stupidity.
-Beat Flannery, which was quite a challenge.
-Beat Dad. Not a challenge.
-Surfed around for items and exp.
-Shuppet evolved!
-Caught a goldeen for a surf slave.

okay, first update that covers a lot of suff....

Oh no! Prof. Birch is in trouble! Let's see, I choose TREECKO! My Treecko pwnt that Poochyena easily and Prof. let me keep it. I found May and brought her back to the lab. On my way to Petalburg, I ran into a wild Chinchou (GS'd) and caught it! YAYS!!!

After going through the Petalburg woods, I got to Rustboro, obtained Cut, and came face-to-face with Roxanne. Using Chinchou's Bubble attack, Geodude and Nosepass were easily defeated, though Thunderwave and Supersonic were good to have too.

When I beat the Magma loser and then traveled to Dewford I beat Brawly and his legendary super saiyan-ness*. Then I went to the cave and got Flash and met w/ Steven.

I quickly got out of the cave and set sail for Slateport. After getting rid of the grunts there, I made it up to Mauville, did the stuff, beat Wally, yada-yada. I decided to catch all of the Electic pokés available: Electrike, Plusle, and Minun. After over 9000 years of training, I decided to face Wattson. I used Chinchou's Volt Absorb to be invincible against Wattson! Hah! Yeah!

I got Rock Smash, went to Verdanturf to pick up Strength, and then proceeded North. I destroyed the Winstrates and Gabby & Ty. Taking on fire path? No problem for Chinchou's WATER GUN!!!

Then I healed in this old lady's house...she kept insisting I stay? Eww!!!

Now I'm off to Fallarbor. HUZZAH!!!
