As you're already sure, the new grass doesn't fit in well at all. Also, I don't see why you don't use the palettes in the Spriter2's box... those are simply beautiful.
I see the only real thing you fixed was the abundance of small trees. (and was that water always there? :\)
 
I was really only testing the grass. As you can see, it doesn't really fit well with the style. And the water is new, I made it when I made the map revision.

Anyway, I am working on some alternate palettes for those who don't like bright and bold. I should be done with them tomorrow.

Yeah you're definately wrong there. The right part should not be covering the left one, that's only because its being viewed from that angle in 3D. As you can see in the screenshot the player is on the right, so the angle is different. The tree on the far left is not covering the other tree.

In our 2D maps the trees are all viewed from the same bird's eye view angle, so no tree should cover another's side.

You know how I love that map Alistair! I really like the new water tiles but as others have said the grass fields were a nice experiment but didn't work too well.
 
Thanks for the coments, guys. Yeah, I realize that the grass field didn't go over so well, so I might try and make a better one. I have not finished the alternate palettes I have been working on, but I did make a few more tiles. Not much, but an update none-the-less. About the Acanthite thing, I already dealt with it.

:O, those new buildings are smexy ^^. Great job. ;)

The red roof is a bit bright though
 
I like the map... I'd give it a 10032542436/45435435. The tree tiles sure doo look Christmas. Santa gave me a Bubble gum. Yeah, jimmy boy!

Anyway, does anyone think should I make water accents like lilypads and cat tails for this set?

Sure, I don't mind. Those are public use as long as credit is given (please read the first post next time, okay?).
 
Alright, could I use that tree in the bottom right which states to ask for perm.'s? If so it would be awesome :D

Very nice tiles, Alistair! Good work! There's a few tiles in there that I never noticed... Great job!
I've got nothing much to say, because I don't see any errors.
 
@ Esmas: There probably are errors. You just don't see them.

Anyay, nothing new sprite-wise, but I will me making some more Acanthite tiles. I will, of course, have to JPEG them (because people on the internet are stupid and steal). I will also have some more tiles for Spriter2 and Fused's tileset. Keep tuned!
 
It works, I just tried it. Does your browser say that there have been errors opening the page?
