What Pokemon in RSE do you consider under used and which pokemon do you consider over used? This can be in terms of how often you use them in your casual playthroughs or however often you see them in other people's.
For me, Salamence is an extremely underused pokemon, Given you need 8 gym badges in order to begin catching Bagon, often in my runs and I notice in other people's that they already have a dedicated flying type and or another dragon type that comes earlier, such as Flygon or Altaria. Also given that it doesn't become a Salamence until level 50, the xp curve on it makes it a real grind to obtain.
In terms of overused, the easy option is often that starters, but seeing as they're in a way forced upon you, a wild encounter I'd go for is Linoone, and I know Linoone is often included for good reason, despite not being the best stat wise, Linoone I would say has the biggest movepool and type coverage of any RSE pokemon. It can go physical or special, be used in a multitude of situations and often serves as a sacrifice for reviving other pokemon.
