4th Gen Most worthless 4 gen feature

- Lack of decent fire-types. Magmortar and Infernape kick ass, but still....
- Poffins. I preferred my lovely PokeBlocks.
- Dress-up and Dancing. Nice ideas, but I didn't want them enforced into contests....still, I liked the reset of the moves.
- Safari Zone. Although it did make the Johto one look even better..

Overall, I liked D/P/Pt. Especially the slot machines in D/P.

Yeah, I reckon that the poffins were pretty useless as it took really long to make them, and then you had to make sure you didn't spill them.
Plus the lack of fire types. Apart from the starter and Magmortar, there were barely any.

Lol, these were the only fire types, in fact:

-Chimchar
-Monferno
-Infernape
-Magmortar
-Heatran

Notice how 3 are evolutions of eachother, one wasn't available until Platinum, and one is unavailable pre-national dex?

And to make up for it, we got......Ponyta/Rapidash.

ugh. dont get me started on Sinnoh. I hated the underground, it was such a vital part of the game, yet it was so boring and repetive. I cant tell you how much time ive wasted looking for heart scales, evolution stones, or fossils. and the spheres. OH GOD THE SPHERES. they do absolutely nothing yet theres so many of them. the flag game whatever was dreadful, just remove the whole underground and make it a normal pokemon game.

Your Forgetting Flareon and Houndoom (in platinum only)

D/P/Pt:
Poketch
Journal
Underground (But Hey!! At least some useful items can be picked from the Underground!!)
Battle Frontier (If that place wasn't full with hax, I won't list it here... )
Dawn/Lucas (why don't she/he battle us!?)
Super Contest(I'm a fan of it... But I don't think it's useful)
Old Chateau(Should have more development, aside from Catching Rotom... This place had no use at all)
Trophy Garden(Why not make Eevee etc... as normal swarm Pokemon/Pokeradar Pokemon)
Resort Area

Hg/Ss:
Game Corner(actually the Voltorb flip's sorta fun, thing is why couldn't we just exchange some coins like usual!?)
PokeGear(Annoying phone calls just make you wanna throw it out the window:( what a GOOD nostalgia it is...)
Battle Frontier
Lyra/Ethan
Pokeatlon(at least good items get me bought here...)
The whole Kanto region(There's no need for it if the plot in Kanto's very short...)

When I see B/W, I'm more disappointed to Gen IV, if they can make that good quality... Why hadn't they did it in DP on first place!?

The Journal! It just bugs me! Like I can't remember what I did yesterday!

Ugghh....

Journal, definitely, for the reasons dargonitesuer posted. But, the most annoying, stupid, useless, horrible feature ever invented--not just restricted to pokemon--is the calculator from the poketech. It's a very simple calculator, so the only calculations it is capable of we can already do in a second. Not only that, but we would never need a calculator while we're playing pokemon anyway--what a stupid feature!

Imo, the Underground was pointless. Just give us Spiritomb already. :3

I agree,Was not so hard for me because me and a friend did it together but alot of people may not have friends who play and are crap out of luck enless they use Ar.

The most pointless thing was the alarm clock.

The one thing i hated the most was how they added a dance section to the contest...maybe its just because i can barly every win at the dance contest but i feel that it was kinda dumb.

yea but they were talking about the new fire pokemon... not the fire pokemon in general...

Lack of good pokemon, they make a game with so many training areas, yet they keep out the strongest pokemon, and add ****** ones

it looked like they rushed the design of the 4th gen pokemon tbh

Yea... i also dislike the fact that most pokemon in DP and Platinum seem identical to the pokemon in R/S/E (not looks... type, evolution, skill, and move set wise.).

old chateau anyone? i just didnt really see a point, other then rotom. i dont even think rotom should be a considered a legendary anyways.

my friend said the mansion garden, but i catched lots of cute pokemon in there like jigglypuff and marill.

The Journal.
I hated how, when I tried to play, it showed me what I did yesterday. I know what I did yesterday, I just want to play!

Well, I would have to say dressing up Pokemon, and the contests. I seriously just wanted them like the gen III ones. =/

Wow, a lot of people said poffins. I love making poffins 0.o

And Voltorb Flip showed up a lot. I actually quite like it, it's like a combination of Minesweeper and Picross, and it's really fun IMO. Though I think that they should have just added the Voltorb Flip into the game Corner, not replacing the Game Corner with it. =/

I can't think of anything I would ever use the Counter app for...

Rotom isn't considered a legendary... unless you're a newbie.

The new contests, they just made them not as good as they were in Hoen.

^ Completly true, I got reall annoyed at this as well.

This is not really a feature that they put in on purpose but did anyone else notice how slow it took to battle, it made battling trainers a choir. I actually avoided battling trainers one time! I know it's to do with more graphics and it's a bigger game, but please bring back the fast and simple battling back in Black/White.
